  1. GK: Was the tip line set unto give the illusion of a real investigation?  Do da bar shit in da woods?  IMPEACH KAVANAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!
MT: Sick bitch avoiding a question?  Nah, she’s such a good Christian, lover of Q-Man, that even Betty Bowers could not touch her!
LP: Must I watch, and listen to that POS?  Oh, no, good.  Murdoch is probably not “trying” to do anything but get still more rich!  SOB!!!!!!!!
AU: Those who must be fancy on the outside, are empty on the inside, to paraphrase Bruce Lee.
    Politicsrus: Excellent!
    RR: More excellent!
Beau: The sentencing judge specifically mentioned that his sentence was not to be seen as a precedent, a sign that future 1/6 sentences would be lenient…but, it probably will act as one.  “Penitentiary” is based on “penitence,” and was the original hope/intention for penitentiaries, based on religious fantasy, like the old, massive, one in Philly, where al Capone spent at least some of his “time.”  I’m sure Capone was not penitent.  I do not know that the “Proud Boys” or the “Oath Keepers,” perhaps for extreme examples, will be penitent, though I’d like to be surprised.  Based on some recent research about loneliness and social isolation playing a big part in the development of people who easily succumb to authoritarian leaders, and cults, maybe there is a chance, especially if they spend enough time in prison to recognize that TOT was nothing but manipulating them for his very own selfish purposes, and gives not a damn for them as people, only as pawns.  That will not have a chance to happen, I’m afraid, if TOT is not indicted, and imprisoned as the  major felonious bastard he has been for all of his adult life.  Damn, I ranted, and have not even finished listening to Beau.  Okay, Mark and Malik should be home, but I doubt their sentences were based on vengeance, rather on politics and bigotry.  Mass incarceration, here, is due to the bigotry I mentioned.  Once again, I suggest anybody interested read “The New Jim Crow, Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness,” by Michelle Alexander.
I do not want a society based on vengeance.
    See you folks next week.
    Stay well, please.

  2. FBI Admits Failing to Investigate 4,500 Citizen Tips About Kavanaugh

No CC – but I certainly hope this is not the LAST we’ll hear of this debacle.

    Marjorie the MANIAC

That’s an example of the MOST INAPPROPRIATE LAUGHTER I have EVER seen.  And that includes 3 months during my Psych rotation – w/ truly certified people.

    Fox is Killing Us

I think it should read “Fox is Killing THEM

Fox is certainly evil and vile – but they know their audience.  Who did they think they were going to convince to NOT get vaccinated, and then put them at high-risk for DEATH?

Those folks are THEIR viewers!  To kill of your own audience is really, REALLY dumb!

8 months, justice, and fairness …

I hope I live long enough to see Justice & Fairness – but I wouldn’t bet on it.

    • You won’t like what we will hear about it tomorrow.    All 4500 of those tips were given to the Trump** White House (IOW to McGahn.  I don’t know whether any other records were even kept.  But it does shed some light on Trump’s “I saved him” – “totally disgraced” comments.

  3. JM: The FBI better start looking into those thousands of tips immediately. And no, the FBI should not be allowed to start an investigation into how it was possible for this to happen and who was responsible. No further delays, no investigation by the perpetrators themselves but by an independent authority. Kavanaugh must be impeached A.S.A.P.

MT: No, nothing to laugh about here, Marjorie. You’re in desperate need of some rewiring if you thought the journalist’s remark was meant to be funny.

LP: Could someone please come up soon with a list of Faux News presenters and the dates they had their jabs? I’m sure they had theirs long before anyone else had a chance to get vaccinated.

AU: Absolutely spot on, Titus. Three of the richest men on earth competing to see who has the biggest toy and who can commercially exploit it the furthest. 🤮

RR: Rob Rogers and Scott Stantis both are brilliant.

Beau: Again, Beau’s reasoning is sound. Comparing the Marc, Malik, or even the “voting on parole” sentences to Florida man’s is comparing apples and pears. It is beyond doubt that the first sentences are unjust and unfair but they have no bearing on the fairness of the latter. From what I know about Florida man, eight months seem fair. But it only matters what he does when he is let out on good behaviour after four months. When he shows he’s really repentant and not lets himself be hailed as a hero by white supremacist buddies.
The unfairness of the Marc, Malik and the “voting on parole” sentences need to be stood up against in their own courts and time.
