Keith OLbermann vs. Michael Flynn – Keith has Flynn’s number, as does Alexander Vindman’s brother. But Keith is wrong about one thing. The President should never tell the Justice Department what to investigate – it is supposed to be an independent agency. But Merrick Garland IMO should be on this (and may be – they don’t discuss ongoing investigations, and they shouldn’t.)

JM: Trump’s claim is absurd in the eyes of any Democrat but his base believes it and understands that they have to help make it happen. And the snail’s pace of indictments being brought against Trump, his minions in Congress and his staff, especially those of the DOJ, gives the Trumpkins all the confidence they need for another coup. Trump should be indicted right now or none of the prosecutors will ever get a chance to subpoena him, let alone get the Trump clan behind bars.

ROF: If those Republicans are all this terrified of the former guy, it doesn’t really matter what they think of his return to the 2024 election. They’re scared so 💩-less that they’ll do whatever he says and support him whatever he does. Again.
KO: Perhaps Vindman can do what Biden should stay away from and get Fynn at least court-martialed for his sedition. It seems he just needs a nod from the right head in the right direction.

Yeah, the word “patriot” like the word “Chrstian” has been degenerating for a long time. Both are probably now irrecoverable. It pisses me off, certainly – but I care less about the exact words than about saving democracy, and I think that’s where our best efforts need to go at this point (and for the foreseeable future.)
GK: Nailed it…grifting, and witch hunt claims. This is what he does, grifts, and manipulates, period. Yeah, just like cover was going to disappear when the weather warmed up, last summer.

Keith: Flynn can’t even properly name the country, he must now love. I have to agree with Joanne’s take on POTUS not telling DOJ what to do, but having Flynn called up, and Court Martialed , by order, or suggestion, of the Commander-in-Cheif, sounds good.
Beau: Or, the writer means “When will non-white people stop calling out white people, and calling them racist?” Cher and this line from Peter, Paul and Mary, and the Momas and the Papas: “The radio won’t play it unless I lay it between the lines.” Peter wrote it, btw. “When will white people be afforded” the same treatment?” Maybe when they/we stop being dicks!
