It’s another painful day here in the CatBox.  Yesterday my Providence Hospice Nurse did come and change my pain meds.  However, instead of sensing my new pain meds here,  my Providence Hospice Pharmacy sent my Providence Hospice meds to WWWendy’s Home.  AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!  Go figure!  WWWendy was at her night job when they came, so she can’t bring them here, until later this morning.  I’ll start getting the change then.   Last night I finally pooped.  Please pray that by bowels stabilize and that there are no more screw ups on my meds.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 5:37 (average 5:48).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

  1. Cartoon: Ugh! Slimy basturds!
Oh, wow! I’m so sorry for you, and you being in pain all this time. Shame that your meds were erroneously sent to Wendy’s house. I’m sure that your delivery will be rectified, and straightened out for you, (but not quick enough). Hopefully, when your meds arrive, you will start feeling better…and I sure hope/pray that all will be good for you today. Good news of you ‘passing a motion’ too! Take good, good care, and Thanks! Tom.

*This just in:  “We may not have chosen the time, but the time has chosen us.” ~ John Lewis ~
    2. “60 years ago, 13 courageous Americans, including the late Rep. John Lewis, started a monumental journey through the segregated South. As we honor the #FreedomRiders and all the heroes of the Civil RightsMovement, we must recommit ourselves to their fight for Justice and Equality.” ~ Ted Lieu ~
    3. “POTUS is president for all Americans no matter who they voted for. And so our focus is on continuing to plug away on pushing for policies that will help everyone through that work we can rebuild trust in government. That government can work.” ~ Jen Psaki, WH Press Secretary ~
    4. “When people of color and their allies say today that Black Lives Matter, the nation must hear and see it through the lens of all that has come before and understand that they speak truth.” ~ Eric Swalwell ~
    5. “Americans are blessed with great plenty, we are a generous people, and we have a moral obligation to assist those who are suffering poverty, disease, war and famine.”  ~ Adam Schiff ~

    • **OOPS!! Forgot to add this to my TJI …
From Mr. Adam Schiff –  –  re: TOT –
“The former president can rant all he wants: Facebook, Twitter, and Google made the right decision. Without remorse, he continues to push out the big lie that got people killed. That’s a threat to our democracy. And a precursor to more violence and division. Keep him banned.”

    • TJI #1 – Very seldom do people who succed in making real change have the luxuty of choosing the time to do so.
TJI #3 – I saw that she’s considering staying only for about a year. I find that sad – but if she has plans to become even more influential, it could be well worth it. And I trust President Biden so finnd someone else well qualified.
TJI #4 – But, Rep Swallwell, I’m sure you realize that it’s not really possible to understand much of anything when one is so triggered by irrational hate when one hears the words “Black Lives Matter” that one is literally out of one’s mind.
TJI #5 – In other words, Beau’s “Rule 303.” People who are basically good really do think alike across differences of culture, and other differences thought to be major which really aren’t. (And of course Adam is also right about Trump**)

    • Thanks Pat.  We need to keep in mind that it will take a week or two to see the full effects of the meds change.

TJ #5 – Amen Adam!  We are all obligated to help in those ways we can.  People who are shout on money must realize that our talent is more valuable.

  2. Sorry to hear about the med mix-up.  But at least relief is in sight!

  3. The last couple of places you lived, you (understandably) had packages delivered through WWWendy. I suppose the nurse could have updated it, but didn’t realize it needed updating. I am so sorry. You didn’t need any extra pain Prayers and hugs.

We all know the names – Koch, Adelson, Mercer, Murdoch, and so on. But there is a bunch of new horse thieves in townwhose names we also need to learn. (Don’t miss the fine print at the bottom of the list which says to click to see 19 more.)

Now this is just a lot of fun. Larry Klayman’s defamation lawsuit against Wonkette has been dismissed, and the Court Order repeats everything they ever said about him that he sued over. Wonkette’s customary tone can make a lot of things very funny which really wren’t.

Cartoon – But they might, under the right circumstances. I hope we can find them (the circumstances).

Blast – Expectable from a group which named itself for Hermann Hesse. He was a deep thinker. (Like everyone in his time – well, most times up to the present, and still continuong) misogyny was one of the foundations of his deep thoughts.

  4. BFTP: I know the band, but don’t recognize the song.
Sorry to hear that your medication was shipped to Wendy’s place. Like Joanne mentioned, you had packages sent to her before, but like always the information of your new address wasn’t updated. Thank goodness Wendy lives closer to you now. Hope by now you’ve gotten the medication and you’re starting to feel better. Tom.
    Prayers being sent your way.
    Have a nice evening.
    Please take care.

  5. Pain sucks!  I hope this gets straightened out.
‘Toon: These poor schnooks were victims of the Third Reich, just like so many others.

  6. TJI#’s 1&2: Absolutely!
TJI#3: I take issue with this.  THIS POTUS may be there for all of us, but just because a person is POTUS, as in TOT, or GWB, or St. Reagan, no; they were there for a certain segment of Americans, and gave not a damn for the rest.  They were not MY presidents.
    TJI#4: Indeed!
TJI#5: Too many of us are not generous, and are morally bankrupt.  However, I do agree with Joanne’s comment about rule 303.

  7. For someone in your agonizing situation avoiding mistakes like this is crucial. I’m so sorry you had to go through all this, TomCat, and hope by now it has resolved itself and you are resting comfortably.

Cartoon: The GOP took over where the Nazis left off.

BFTP: No blast there for me, I don’t remember hearing it before but then I think I only know Steppenwolf’s “Born to be wild”.

  8. Thanks and BIG weekend Hugs to all.  See today’s update!
