It’s a crappy day here in the CatBox. I have severe Republicitis and cannot poop. My Republicitis pain and cancer pain are both severe. Yesterday WWWendy gave me a shower, and that exacerbated both. My Hospice Nurse is coming this morning to adjust my pain meds. Pray that I get the relief I need. I feel like something I forgot to bury.

TJI #3: The way those two sentences string together, Walsh has Republicans able to acknowledge the truth and Democrats unable to do so.
TJI #1 – I LOVE Yamiche Alcindor! In fact PBS has a very strong lineup of commentators: Yamiche, Lisa Desjardins, Tamara Keith, Amy Walters, Jonathan Capehart and even David Brooks is getting better. (Never been all that wild about Judy Woodruff though.)
TJI #3 – Sadly republicans have abandoned the concepts of Reality AND Democracy!
TJI #5 – In his recent “statement” when Trump attacked Liz Cheney, Mike Pence and Mitch McConnell blaming THEM for HIS losing the election – I thought of those three, only Liz has a pair….
TJI #1 – Choked me up yesterday. I miss Gwen too So young when we lodt her.
TJI #3. It’s democracy versus autocracy (and the reasoning so many are backing autocracy my be even scarier than the backing of it, even scarier than the denial of truth.) But it does align with Republicas versus Democrats to a large extent, which makes the correlation tempting.
TJI #5 – Right on. I didn’t know she had it in her. And I’m impressed that she does.

I’m surprised that there aren’t more people aren’t seeing how she has taken opposition to Trump** as a passport to ersatz credibility And it’s not just her. Scores of thoroughly vile Republicans are parroting, “I’m a good guy! I opposed Trump**!”

I’ve gotten myself into a cycle where every night I’m up a llittle later and then the next morning I sleep a little later. It looks as though you’ve gotten into one that’s the opposite -I’m pretty sure pain will do that. I know I’ll snap out of mine (by Saturday) – I hope and pray you get what you need to snap out of yours.
Cartoon – By all accounts a royal jerk. I honestly don’t know why we don’t use his name as a byword and instead use the names of people who were slandered (and mostly innocent.
Blast – Interesting backstory. Someone on “Song Meanings” commented “Pretty much a very narcissistic and opportunistic view of a sexual relationship..” But there’s more.
