It’s a very sore and tired day here in the CatBox.  I took as shower and and had all the medical attention I needed to my legs and back.  I’m especially proud to announce that, once again, I Republicated all by myself.  However, it wasn’t just a Republican.  I’m sure I trapped at least three Senators in that pot.  I did not get BBMMM, but I may have gotten a Congressional Committee too!  Today, I plan a lazy day, and God knows I need one.  Please join me, and have a blessed Sunday!

Today’s took me 5:37 (average 5:30).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

  1. Well, for your today, that’s wonderful and happy news that you Republicated. Don’t strain though. I just wish that you would have gotten more R’s to flush down the drain. There are plenty to choose from…too. Hope that you rest, be lazy all day long, and take good care, TC.
Cartoon: Oh! They sure live up to their reputation. So mean and vile.
BFTP: Love the Moody Blues. Any song they sing is fantastic.

    5. “Trickle-down economics” is, and always was, a scam to funnel more and more wealth to the rich. Let’s get back to what made this country great: a strong middle class with pathways to success foranyone who works hard and plays by the rules.” ~ Rep. Val Demings ~

      TJ #2 –  BRAVO!

TJ #4 – is, like the Reich on the left, right!

TJ #5 – It’s also “Tinkle-down economics, because the Republican Reich are the dawgs and we are the fire hydrants!

  2. Sounds like your day yesterday was extremely productive. Your reference to medical care for the back and legs leads me to wonder whether you haven’t been getting enough of it laktely … of course it could be you were just too distracted by other things to mention it, and I hope that’s the case. By all means have a lazy Sunday. I am certainly trying to also.

Starting tomorrow it’s “Mother’s Day” week for Metropolitan Opera streaming, and they did not limit their choices to good ones. The week starts with Clytenestra (in Electra) and ends with Agrippina. Atleast they left out Medea (probably don’t have that one on video) and Gertrude (Hansel and Gretel), but they did include Gertrude (Hamlet) The other four certainly do try at least. Maybe it isn’t such a bad idea. I does make me, at least, appreciate my own mother more.

This sounds more like something dreamed up by Qty-pies and something one would read about in Crooks and Liars and being taken seriously. And somehow the very vagueness about it makes it spookier, at least to me.

Cartoon – No autocrat likes any kind of group. Any group of people who think alike can grow into a movement which can overthrow the autocrat. And that doesn’t mean the group is necessarily a force for good. Look at QAnon.

Blast – If Monday norning is bad to you, hang on. Tuesday afternoon is coming.

(Although there some places we probably are.)

  3. As a Minnesota, in fact live in St. Louis Park where Al Franken grew up, still trying to figure out why Senator Franken was held to such a higher standard…not just to Gaetz, but to all GOP pols of the past years…as asked above….

Hope everyone has a great day and week…

  4. Cartoon: Awful traits we certainly can do without.
BFTP: Wonderful song. I love the Moody Blues.
Nice that you got your shower. I noticed that you mentioned your back and legs? What’s up with them, you have a rash or skin irritation?
Hopefully your Sunday was pleasant. With you telling us that you Republicated today, That tells me, you’re eating a balance diet and drinking your fluids, which is good. Keep up the great job.
    Have a great evening.
Take care. Prayers being sent your way, TomCat

  5. Everything seems to agree with you in your new surroundings and they have you back to some regularity in Republication too. This must mean they take good care of what food they serve you too. I haven’t heard about your meals yet; are they enjoyable, or at least edible at all?

Cartoon: Time to get those unions back that weren’t corrupted by Republican “ethics”.

BFTP: Awsome song for any afternoon of the week.

  6. Thanks Monday Hugs to all!
