  1. MT: And, today the Orange Crazy has announced that he is opening the “Office of the Former President.”
NT: Aptly named, “Now this?”  Unreal!
RA: She is unfit for office, but, of course, the GOPIGGIES remain silent!
Drew is selling the American Dream!  Get rich on other people’s lives!  What a guy!
    Beau# 1: Go Bernie!
Beau #2: “They” are not interested in learning anything, only in holding on to whatever bits of power they can, damn the country, damn the constitution, damn anything…while they go on with the big lies, one after another.  So, maybe I missed something, but why is Roberts NOT presiding?  Just because he is not required, does not, of itself, mean that he can’t.  Do the Dems not trust him?  Or something like that?  wouldn’t they have been able to understand that it is not in their interest to give the GOP any form of, even fake, leverage?

  2. And, just why did my earlier comment not get posted?
MT: The forces that wish to rid the country of as much of the dumpy influence as possible, can not stop!  BTW, Canada has declared the Proud Boys to be a Terrorist Organization, it is awaiting Pm’s signature.
    Now this: and now, this?
RA: She is a sick puppy.
Conversation:  He who makes the definitions controls the discussion.
Drew is selling the good old American dream: Get rich on the lives of others..goes wayyyyy back in our history.
    Beau#1: Go Bernie!
Beau#2: Roberts has turned down presiding over the 2nd impeachment.

    • It had posted by the time I came … no idea.  Probably someone with the authority to do so saw it and approved it.

I found the original and there was a typo in the email address. No biggie.

  3. Just want to be sure I’m on the record:

Marjorie Taylor Greene is one bat$hit crazy … female.

    • Isn’t she though.  It has been a long time, but was’t there a scene in Life of Brian in which a woman was going to be stoned, and “virtuous” women were not allowed to take part, but everyone present was a woman dressed as a man (or to be more accurate, since this was Month Python, a man pretending to be a woman dressed as a man)?  Bloodthirsty Greene (and bloodthirsty Boebert) remind me of that.

  4. MT: I usually couldn’t care less what a celebrity has to say on political issues but Messing makes a valid point and does so eloquently. It’ll take a long time (>4 years) from a lot of activists to reduce Trumpism and prevent it from gaining power again in elections.

NTN: Why would Americans think all is over and better now that Biden is #46? It took Republicans decades and four years of Trump to brainwash their base. It would be terribly naive to think that brain damage has been undone overnight.

RA: Of course Marjorie Taylor Greene is still in Congress. Republicans never threw their certifiable orange leader out on his ear with article 25 pushed in his little hands. Why would they now throw this certifiable nutcase out when they have condoned other certifiable nutcases like Gohmert for years?

IS: Over 10 minutes is too long, but this video should be mandatory for everyone on the left, including Democrats and Biden. It should be watched every evening before turning down the lights so it can be processed each night because it is vital to grasp if politics are to get anywhere soon.

DM: I loved the way they coloured his neck more and more red during his sales pitch as if it wasn’t clear enough he was a redneck selling the capitalist’s wet dream.

Beau1: There was a lot of glee in Beau’s explanation of Budget Reconciliation; he seemed quite taken with Bernie’s proposed plan of attack, even if it was a touch hypocritical. Beau is right, of course, that Democrats do not have a good track record when it comes to wielding the power they’ve been given. They must stand together as a block of 50 to win because the Republicans are going to do that. Without question.

Beau2: Again so many valid points. To me, it all boils down to one thing: the Right will do ANYTHING to avoid ACCOUNTABILITY They don’t want to learn because in their book they’ve done nothing wrong so there’s nothing to learn.

    • I’ve been thinking once I have trickled  out the episodes in the Alt-Right Playbook I might do an extra column where I repeat all of them in one, so that a single bookmark will find them all.  I can’t imagine getting smart enough to not have to refer to them sometimes, amd having them in one place would help me, so it might help others too.

  5. MT: Remain vigilant, while enjoying President Biden doing his job,as POTUS.
    NT: Sad. Screaming sad.
RA: Must be something in the water….though I do like what Nameless wrote so eloquently. I agree!
    ARP: Good information.
    Drew/Beau: All good info.

  6. Thanks JD! 09

Republicans practiced Trumpiasm** long before Trump**.

NT – That Pig can be described in one word: Republican.

RA – The best job description for Qs in Congress: Unemployed!

ARP – Thanks for continuing this!  Great point.  We must always force the discussion on point and on topic.  How many have times have I said that compromise with Republicans is unsound, because Republicans either refuse to compromise or don’t abide by their agreements.

Beau1 – Bernie is the best at that post we’ve ever had.  Back him up.
