It’s a busy day here in the CatBox.  WWWendy is here doing chores.  Tomorrow, I don’t know what I’ll be posting.  I’ll be busy watching history being made and water circling the bowl.  Tuesday is Flush your Republicans Day, but be sure to save some for tomorrow.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:06 (average 4:44).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Cartoon:

Short Takes:

From YouTube (Parody Project Channel): LIP SLIDING AWAY | A Parody | The Freedom Toast

Dang, Don! As wonderful as this is, you ought to do one called Flip Flushing Away! It must be fine, because Mitch (good, God-like Mitch, not evil, Satan-like Mitch) emailed about it too.  RESIST and REMOVE the Republican Reich!!

From YouTube (a blast from the past): George Harrison – Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) – Lyrics

Ah the memories! We can start VERY soon!  RESIST and REMOVE the Republican Reich!!

Tomorrow, Dump Trump** Hump Day,

Is the Big FLUSH!!

  1. I seem to have confused everyone on the subject of Presidential Libraries. They are not libraries as we think of Libraries, and need not even contain books. They are archives of everything that happened in the White House during the Presidency. In this case, all the Tweets. All the videos of rallies. Transcripts of all the phone calls. All the documents signed with Sharpies. Some may well be bound into books – such as (a copy of) the Mueller Report. The ex-President has some control over how it is presented, but not totlal control. The reason for the mandate is transparency. If you didn’t watch the video in yesterday’s video thread, do now – start it at 2:38 and quit when it stops talking about libraries

Cartoon – So true. Although, as Bernice said, there are a whole lot of people now who claim to love or at least admire him who hated or would have hated him when he was alive. Just as there are a whole lot of people who claim to love Jesus – but don’t

Other PP good Don – I knew you’d post this! It’s very telling.

Blast – a lovely song and very appropriate. George was always the one who succeeded with more spiritual lyrics and music.

  2. Cartoon: Good grief! How sick!
PPC: Good job! Does it get any better than this? I’ve been waiting for this day…..very appropriate song!
Hi, Wendy! Hope you are doing well. Hope that you get your rest, so that we can watch the inauguration together over the miles. I’m so excited, history being made!! Amen!!! and! F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. !! 😉 YAY!

*This just in: “We need to see Biden, outside in the sun, taking the oath, speaking to the people, celebrating with all of us, and doing what has been done for hundreds of years, there, at that location. A clear transition of power. A new day and a new era. All Americans need to see that a new President has arrived and taken the reins. There’s a new sheriff in town.”  ~ John R. ~
    2. “President Biden, and VP Harris will bring a new spirit, a time of healing and rebuilding for a nation that has been shaken to its very core. May their days be many and their troubles be few.”  ~ Sharman G. ~
    3. “One of Mr. Biden’s first actions should be to reveal and hang Mr. Obama’s portrait in the White House.”
    ~ Beverly H. ~
    4. “Dear Networks: PLEASE don’t run trump’s departure live on Wednesday. Delay it, review it and make sure it doesn’t incite more violence or contain more gross lies.” ~ Don Winslow ~
    5. “Tradition calls for the current and President-elect to share a limo ride, arriving at the Inauguration together. First time in 180 years that the current president snubbed the incoming one.” ~ John P. ~
    6.

    • TJIs #3, 4, 5, 6: Obama portrait, in very plain sight; no coverage, no broadcast of lies; no, not a snub, doing the Biden’s a favor; Wonderful, with Belushi, no less.

    • All good – very positive.

#4 – Mr. Winslow is correct, as usual.  Time to go back to “film at eleven” only make it the next day.  Or the next week.

  3. “Tuesday is Flush your Republicans Day, but be sure to save some for tomorrow.”

  4. “Tuesday is Flush your Republicans Day, but be sure to save some for tomorrow.”

  5. Save your energy for tomorrow, TomCat.

    3:25 Beautiful, isn’t it?

Cartoon: This picture could have been taken as recently as yesterday.

PP: Great parody, but I’d rather see Trump tumble and fall then slip-sliding away as he does now.

BFTP: George’s vision will come one day but a lot of work needs done before it can happen.

  6. ‘Toon: That’s them!
    PPC is ON TARGET!
    Harrison was always wonderful!
    SOLAMENTE UNO DIA MAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Cartoon: Despicable bas*ards. Flush them all.
PPC: Perfectly spoken. Great job, Don.
BFTP: Love George. Great tune. Hopefully starting tomorrow our country will slowly move toward PEACE. Especially once tRump is gone.
Sounds like you had a busy day with Wendy, hope you both accomplished finishing your tasks,
Tomorrow will be a great day for our Country. Finally doing like you and Nameless’ Stephen Colbert fweet states
