TvU – I’m surprised to see us that green. That’s not exactly what I’ve been seeing. And the counties look odd. In particular, that much green in the lower left (SW) corner looks odd. That’s another hotbed of RWNJs Oh, well.
This is the link to the Santa Fe Opera’s 2021 season announcement. I cut off 5 minutes at the beginning, but I can’t make it stop – but the part I was most interested in sharing was the part before they introduce any operas. That includes a statement from Governor Lujan-Grisham about how the SFO has used its – shall we say unexpected – down time to help create tools for home schooling, but mainly the (IMO) terrifying changes they have had to make to the physical plant and in terms of rules to even think about opening in 2021. As someone who has worked backstage and never had to even think about any of that, I find it heartbreaking. Anyway, so if you cut it off at the instant Robert says “The Marriage of Figaro,” you will have seen everything I was trying to share. Probably a little more.
C&L – By the time I got to the plan, it had been taken down. Is it perchance the big book with all blank pages? Or was that the Obamacare replacement?
SNL – They are so creative, and funny.
Blast – I remember it – should I say only too well? since it’s a great earworm? Partly because it is so creative. Completely off topic, but did you knw that John Williams’s Superman theme is actually called “Can you read my mind?” – and that it was originally going to be a vocal for Lois. You can certainly hear it in any instrumental performance, as the melodic line that was to have those lyrics is so soaring.
No, it was not taken down,as there was never anything in it to begin with.
I expected nothing … but there are more creative ways to express “nothing” than “404: Page Not Found.” Unless one says that with a cat picture.
There was actually much more than the 404 Not Found page because this one had a ‘Read more’ link which took you to the whole sequence of death and denial.
