It’s a relatively lazy holiday here in the CatBox. My esophageal tumor is making eating more painful and difficult. I’ll talk to Evelyn about that, when I go in Wednesday. My AC is acting up intermittently. When I woke up, this morning, it was pumping out heat and the inside temp was 89°. It wouldn’t power down, so I flipped the circuit breaker. Then I coaxed it into working again, for now. I’m babying it until Maintenance Dept. gets here. Of course this has to happen on a 3 day weekend. If you’re driving, please stay safe. Thank God it’s Monday.

Bernie Sanders is raising the alarm and mobilizing his army of supporters to be aware of just how dangerous a game the president is now playing.
In an interview with Politico and an email sent to his massive email list Friday, Sanders suggested that too many news organizations, social media companies, and lawmakers—in addition to the broader public—remain unaware of the manner in which Trump is laying the groundwork for a potentially devastating series of events.

I fully agree with Bernie. The people of the US need to be fully informed about Trump’s* likely intent to overthrow the government of the US and how he is setting up an attempt to do so. RESIST!!

ST: I just love me some Bernie! Despite the lies, and propaganda, the WH, and right-wing media will spread, it is an excellent idea to pave the way, with an educated (?) population, to prepare for Trump and Barr to try to avoid vacating “the People’s House,” in January.
CNN: Barr, Trump, and their handlers in the Kremlin, will work, assiduously, to try to negate the impact of vote by mail. We have applied for it, but now plan to vote in person, early.
Phil Ochs, from Queens, N.Y.C., could not tolerate what he foresaw happening to the country, and left this world much too early for myself, and many others. I still get choked up….

Alternet: Good on Bernie! He’s one of the few politicians that dare to name what Trump is now openly doing: prepare for a coup. A call to arms is what Trump is giving right now and certainly not the way Democrats can and should follow. Education is the only way even though only Democrats can be educated. We can expect to see a lot of those educational films appear in your short takes, TomCat, and in Joanne’s video thread.
CNN: Of course Barrf would say that China is a bigger threat to the election than Russia because China opposes Trump and Russia appears to favour him. No way Barrf is going to undermine the lies of his boss, he’ll add to them in support of Russia even though he may be smart enough to see that Russia is only interested in provoking as much chaos as possible and not necessarily in having Trump on the throne. Both Barrf and Trump think they can outsmart the Russians after Trump is reelected and has established his empire. Yeah, right.
