From Alternet: One of the many oddities of the now-terminated Robert Mueller probe into Russian election interference and its links to various members of the Trump campaign and family, and in fact of all known federal probes into Russia’s Trump-related actions, has been the seeming lack of any counterintelligence probe on Donald Trump’s myriad, longstanding financial connections to Russia—and what role those financial ties have played both in the Russian government’s actions on behalf of Trump and their possible leverage over the now-president.
A new story from The New York Times‘ Michael Schmidt reports that that’s because in the first months of the new Trump administration, former deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein shuttered that investigation—then ordered special counsel Robert Mueller to steer clear of it himself. It’s not that the counterintelligence investigation into Trump’s known ties to Russian crime figures, to money laundering, and his family’s stated reliance on Russian cash has been kept closely-held: It never existed. And it still doesn’t.
Assuming that we win in November, the investigation blocked by Rosy Rectum Rosenstein needs to be done, and Trump* needs to be prosecuted, convicted, and incarcerated for the crimes Republicans are hiding. RESIST!!

Hope your visit was truly routine, and greetings to WWWendy (not that you’ll see this before she gets there.)
I have more than three videos, so I’ll take TC’s advice and make a separate post.
Cartoon – Good idea – but unfortunate if someone who is not a Republican shares a name. I used to see an optometrist named Rittenhouse, for example, and he was perfectly normal except for being a little stage struck, but community theatre was an outlet for that.
Map – With a few notable exception, it almost looks like a simple population density map.
AlterNet – That was my reaction too (albeit with a little stronger language.) You are probably just as furious. So should Mueller be furious. I hope he says something. Well, he probably needs to calm down. He has every right to be volcanically irate. And not just for this reason. They also betrayed him on the work he was allowed to do.
Song – a beautiful classic, yet IMO deeply flawed by lacking empathy. Not everyone is capable of living without faith, Lennon proselytizes more gently than most who do (some of course don’t, bless then), but it is still proselytizing.
I agree with your objection Lennon proselytizing atheism. I included it, because I agree with enough of it to overlook the parts with which I disagree.

Rosenstein needs to be investigated for this massive security threat to the Nation, considering it’s a swept ‘under the rug’ lie by this guy, and his boss, dt. Unreal !! TVU: 304 new cases today, up to 38,604. Can you believe we’re over 6 million in the U.S.? They are also aaying we still have over 40,000 new cases every day in the U.S. Scary. Praying that they aren’t making big mistakes telling schools K thru 12th grade that they can open if they want. The colleges are already seeing a spike in new cases.
AN: Shameful what tRump and his buddy Rosenstein did to block the FBI and Mueller from doing their jobs. They still should be prosecuted for it.

BOP: 21 November 1981, the largest demonstration against nuclear weapons/cruise missiles ever, in Amsterdam with 550,000 people marching for peace in a country with a population of 14 million at the time. Hubby and I walked for hours and were dead-tired but someone had put their speakers in the windows above street level and revived us by continuously playing Lennon’s Imagine. Everyone who passed under those windows sang along as long as they could hear it. The memory still brings tears to my eyes.
It can be done! Great America never stationed those missiles in our tiny country.
Burying Republicans on my kitty box is less humane than flushing them.
