Today’s winner is the de facto head of the US Republican Party, Vladimir Putin [R-RU]. He is so honored for giving his brown-nose sycophant protégé, criminal Fuhrer Trump*, a lesson on how to best deal with a political opponent.
Russia’s most prominent Kremlin critic, Alexei Navalny, was in critical condition in a German hospital Saturday, suffering from suspected poisoning, as doctors conducted tests after an emergency flight from Russia.
A statement from the Charité hospital in Berlin said a “comprehensive medical exam” was underway on Navalny, 44, who has been in a coma since collapsing early Thursday aboard a plane from the Siberian city Tomsk to Moscow.
His spokeswoman and others suspect he was the target of a deliberate poisoning — a method used before by Russian agents — possibly in tea he drank at an airport cafe. Russian doctors said they did not find toxins in Navalny’s system.
“Once that is complete, and after speaking with the family, the medical staff will provide further details about the sickness and the next steps,” the Berlin hospital statement continued, noting that “the exam will take some time.”…

Although the proof is not yet set in stone, Putin, aka Daddy Vladdy, as Trump* calls him in bed, has so many poison priors that not to act on it would be insane.

Committing political murder is nothing new for the Republican Reich. Consider JFK, MLK, RFK and Kent State. More recently, look how they targeted Gabby Giffords, almost killing her. Since criminal Fuhrer Trump* admires his Daddy Vladdy so much and emulates him so often, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris need to add official food tasters to their security staff!

Well, I’m glad he’s in Berlin – I guess he is – the accounts are conflicting.
My first thought about food tasters was that Trump* doesn’t have any supporters who are competent to kill with anything but a gun or in some cases bare hands (including knees). Then I remembered the Putin does … and I expect would be only too pleased to lend them.
What worries me is this may give tRump ideas. Vote blue no matter who, top to bottom – even if the Democratic candidate is a Dumbocrat or a DemocRAT. Let’s send the Republicans a message that either they get their [feces] together, or cease to exist as a political force.
Boy, this is scary stuff with trying to kill off those who are the Resistance in Russia.
Poisoning the opposition, like Alexander Litvinenko, and Alexi Navalny, or Boris Nemtsov who was shot while jogging, or the journalists who speak the truth, and never heard from again…and don’t forget the hospital workers too, falling out of windows. Also the agent Sergi Skripal, (double agent), and his daughter, Yulia being poisoned who were living in the UK, who survived.
Saddening, and so, so tragic!!
Being and working in journalism, or speaking out is very dangerous living in Russia.
In this day and age, it IS a good point, in having food tasters before Joe and Kamala eat something.

I heard about this incident the other night on the news. Here he was on a flight and asked for some tea.
These journalist just doing their job, being killed for speaking truth is insane.
Getting on the bad side of pUtin, certainly not a good thing at all.
With tRump loving pUtin as much as he does, it had me wondering if he’d try to pull something like this?

The list of patriots poisoned by Trump’s pal, Putin, is quite long – which is depressing.
The fact that Vlad does it out in the open w/ NO repercussions is MOST depressing!
In the past, Putin was even less careful and had the opposition shot, right in front of the Kremlin if need be, but he knows he’s waning a bit in popularity so he”s back to his old trick of poisoning people, both in Russia and in England. Putin prefers the method of unknown but very deadly toxins, sometimes even radiation poisoning, to try and throw doctors and lab technicians off the scent as long as possible.
Alexei Navalny is in a coma in Germany now, and the doctors are trying to find some traces of the poison he ingested but after so many days there’s little hope of that. It is meaningful however that the doctors are openly stating they are looking for poison. The West is no longer giving credence to Russia’s denial of involvement is the “illness and death” of so many of Putin’s crittics and opponents. Relationships between Germany and Russia are now deteriorating further.

As of 4:12 ET, today (I had not seen this yesterday) The German Hospital, not somewhere in Russia, states that he was poisoned!
