From CNN: The top writer for Fox News host Tucker Carlson has for years been using a pseudonym to post bigoted remarks on an online forum that is a hotbed for racist, sexist, and other offensive content, CNN Business learned this week.
Just this week, the writer, Blake Neff, responded to a thread started by another user in 2018 with the subject line, “Would u let a JET BLACK congo n****er do lasik eye surgery on u for 50% off?” Neff wrote, “I wouldn’t get LASIK from an Asian for free, so no.” (The subject line was not censored on the forum.) On June 5, Neff wrote, “Black doods staying inside playing Call of Duty is probably one of the biggest factors keeping crime down.” On June 24, Neff commented, “Honestly given how tired black people always claim to be, maybe the real crisis is their lack of sleep.” On June 26, Neff wrote that the only people who care about changing the name of the NFL’s Washington Redskins are “white libs and their university-‘educated’ pets.”
And over the course of five years, Neff has maintained a lengthy thread in which he has derided a woman and posted information about her dating life that has invited other users to mock her and invade her privacy. There has at times also been overlap between some material he posted or saw on the forum and Carlson’s show.
The Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda , Faux Noise, is so rabid that I’m surprised that Fucker Carlson didn’t use more of his Nazi Republican writer’s screeds on the air. RESIST!!

Even though I was 99% sure that *Rump was going to commute Stone’s well-deserved (and it should have been longer as originally intended) sentence, I was still LIVID when it happened.
If you recall, the four original prosecutors abruptly quit in February when Barr had the DOJ intervene to reduce the sentence recommendations. It’s well past the time that *Rump stop expecting (and Barr stop complying) the DOJ to act as his own private, personal law firm.

Map – It was just this week, wasn’t it, that we hit 3 million? And we are now over 3 and a quarter million? 4 million by September 1?
CNN – They are out there. Always have been. Likely always will be. How do se deal with them? If education could fix them, why haven’t we already done it? You might as well try to educate a honey badger. With them among us, how can we claim to be civilized?
Trae/Mark – I have never understood why anyone with two brain cells to rub together would want politics, or a President, or any part of government to be exciting. Perhaps the problem is actually that so few people have two brain cells to rub together. If you want excitemen, ride a roller coaster, for heaven’s sake. To lice a decent life, grow up.
Stone – So he commuted his sentence, but he didn’t pardon him. Why, I wonder. To get around the presumption of guilt which comes with a pardon? Something is going on here that Trump* is not smart enough to think of, but someone around him is smarter.
So much that doesn’t survive the light of day in some people’s lives…sigh

CNN: C’mon, give poor Tucker Carlson/Blake Neff a break and allow him to let off some steam after bottling up all these frustrations by having to keep it squeaky clean on Faux News, won’t you.
TC: Really, “exciting” is a criterion to vote for the president of the USA? That says a lot about the game-show mentality of many Americans and how much they are divorced from political reality. Why not have the candidates fight each other instead of debate? So much more entertaining and exciting.
MSNBC: Intimidating prosecutors and judges and having the sentence imposed on Stone halved was not enough. Stone was clearly guilty and had to go to prison, but would be a threat Trump and his reelection as long as Stone would try to get his sentence further reduced with the incriminating evidence he had on Trump. So Trump had to have Stone’s sentence commuted before he went to prison. It is fascinating to see a president jumping to so many hoops (cartoon, anyone?) just to have his cronies keep stum. It makes me wonder how many more Trump is beholden to, though.

TCC: i agree with you, TC we’ve had enough of tRump’s excitement. We’re sick of his evil games.
MSNBC: tRump’s at his evil sly moves again. I have to agree with Joanne and Lona that there’s got to be something he feels he’ll gain by doing this? I ended up signing a petition today to impeach tRump for commuting Stone. Hopefully there will be more out there to get some action moving to look into this.
