It’s that time of week again, so here are four excellent video clips, from Bill’s show last night. Enjoy!

Monologue: Live Free or Die Hard

Bill is spot on! As time goes on, criminal Fuhrer Trump* piles more bullshit on his own head. It the penis enlargement people had been there, Trump* would have spent taxpayer dollars on all their products.  Just ask Stormy!

John Bolton: An Empty Chair in the Oval Office

In this case, I believe Bolton, because his descriptions are so authentically like Trump*. Nevertheless, Bolton’s reputation for credibility leaves much to be desired.

Wes Moore and James Carville

I agree with Carville that we need no win to such an extent that the Republican Reich, as we know it, is destroyed.

New Rule: The Guardians of Gotcha

I agree to a great extent. I’m White. I have been fighting against racism since the mid-1960s, and my blood has stained the streets of several US cities, while I was doing so. I have also had many Black friends and acquaintances, who could not have been more apathetic about racism. In fighting racism, I agree that it’s up to Black people to lead the way.  Also, White people can never truly know what it is to be Black.  However, to say white people can’t hate racism is absurd.

This was a fine show!

  1. W/watch later on this evening.
    Thanks, Tom.

  2. Monologue – Diehard fans indeed. I know there are small numbers of people who are slowly coming to see they were wrong … and I’m pretty confident ho one is slipping the other way. But it does need to be enough people and in the right states.

Bolton – Nothing new here. “Cost us a lot of time” – yeah – and lives – aren’t they important too?

Wes Moore & James Carville – The election is indeed five months awy – and, yes, Republicans cheat.

New Rule – Hey, leave it to white people to screw things up – and in particular to screw things up by believeing that we are the most harmed by racism, as well as the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral. However, If ouy are asking black people to lead, then you are imlying thatwhite people should follow. What about the white people who will never follow any black? How I would say is is that white people need to do the work, guided by black people.

  3. Thanks for posting, TomCat, Bill’s clips are very much appreciated but I’ll have to wait until tonight with watching.

  4. Thanks and hugs to all. 26

I agree with JD.  I never had any difficulty working in organizations where there were Black people working beside or above me.  That’s why the New York City chapter of SDS gave me the job of coordinating activities with other organizations.  Included in that list were the NAACP, SNCC, and CORE, NOW, the SWP and many others.

    • Thank you, TC.  You understand.  So, I think, does Nancy Pelosi.  She and some others took a lot of flak (and I’m sure not all from Republicans) for the kente cloth shawls they wore for the almost-nine-minutes of silence in memory of George Floyd.  But they wore those because the Congressional Black Caucus had asked them too.  When the CBC asks you to make a gesture, if you are an ally, you do it.  If you don’t understand it, it’s OK to ask for details so you can explain it to idiots.  But it’s not OK to push back.
