WWWendy will come to de-stink the rancid TomCat and help with lots of chores.  I plan to lay down first to minimize pain.  This is my only article today.  Tomorrow we’ll see what’s there.  Sundays are slow.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:06 (average 5:14).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

  1. Sorry about your pain.
    ‘Toon: Belated congratulations!
TVU: Approaching 2 million, and “It ain’t over ’till it’s over.”  The mid-west seems to be accumulating more, and more cases.  The south-east is not looking too happy.
BFTP: Hendrix was wonderful!  His music still resonates.  I left Woodstock that Sunday morning, as he was doing his burning of the guitar thing.

  2. Hope everything goes well and pain is minimized. By the time you read this WWWendy will have finished and gone, but I’m sure you already passed on good wishes to her.

A slightly older Meidas Touch – from May 30.

    Good for New Mexico!

Beau on police violence, particularly this week.

    Cartoon – It’s a while ago.

Map – This one is a little larger and more detailed than some. I see Colorado’s hottest spots are all in rural areas (surprise, surprise – NOT), but the Denver area doesn’t look that great. I actually am surprised Colorado Springs doesn’t look worse. I’m staying in anyway.

Past – Wasn’t the song actually written by Bob Dylan? One of the ones he got the Nobel in Literature for?

    • Through your posts, I’ve become something of a fan of Beau’s clear-headed analyses, Joanne.

      Thanks for posting

  3. Cartoon: Congratulations!!
TVU: Read this morning’s paper that we have 7 new cases which is a 19.4% increase here. Crap.
BFTP: WOW! Awesome! I’m jealous, Mitch. What fantastic memories!
Rest, nap, rest, nap. Hope your pain goes away, and that you feel better. Take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

*This just in: “Stop making stupid people famous.” Saw this sign, and thought of dt. pb
    2. “If dt is having a terrible, horrible day, that means it’s a great day for the rest of us. ~ Alice R. ~
    3. “George Floyd’s last words, “I can’t breathe” have echoed across our Nation and around the world. For the president to try to put any other words in his mouth is frankly despicable.” ~ Joe Biden ~
    4. We hate Trump like you hated Obama. However, we hate Trump because he is racist. You hated Obama because you are racist.” ~ Alyssa Milano ~
    5. “dt tried to divide us. It served instead to unite our country, we will not be divided.” ~ Ernie N. ~

    • Meidas Touch – If I did this, I’d be mopping floors in prison. Saw it before, but watched it again, robbers and grifters. ugh
      Beau – excellent video.
      Thanks, Joanne. 02   04

  4. My county now over 100 cases with one-third active at the moment–still roughly 20% increase week to week (state put in testing with only initial results included for the county’s metrics for opening, which included waiver for dine-in).  Biggest increases at Tahoe.
Current surges in TX and FL, among other states, being attributed to re-opening and related behavior (think beaches, etc.).Hope something helps you soon to get that pain reduced TC–it affects so many things.

  5. i hope your pain has eased a bit.

    Puzzle – 3:34

Congrats on the anniversary of your graduation!

TVU – NY state is opening up slowly. Our County has been in Phase 2 for a week now and Thursday they opened up restaurants that had outdoor seating. Our numbers are good and testing has increased. Thanks Gov. Cuomo!

I always enjoy your choice of music, TC!

  6. Cartoon: Oh the memories….Congratulation TC
TVU: Sad,,,Still climbing both with cases and deaths.
BFTP: Jimi was one heck of a guitar player. Still enjoy hearing his tunes.
Hope you and Wendy got your stuff taken care of. Sorry your back hasn’t gotten better.
    Take care. Thanks TomCat

  7. I’m thankful that at least it sounds like lying down helps provide some relief.  Always good to have more than one option in addressing any situation.

I graduated from High School on 6/10/1966 – in a class of 602 students.  Our HS name began w/ an “M” – and the graduation tradition was to create a gigantic “M” about 20′ tall and 15′ wide out of chicken-wire, and then stuff w/ crepe paper in our school colors.  And then we would all march in under the “M”

I just Googled it for 2019 (no 2020 graduation), and they have kept the tradition!  Although now the “M” appears to be a permanent, solid plywood structure painted in the school colors.  Probably a wise move … but they’ll never have the joy of partying while we stuffed the chicken-wire w/ crepe paper.

  8. Take it easy this weekend, enjoy it and avoid pain as much as possible, TomCat.

3:19 A lot of horse for you to goop.

Cartoon: I hope you have fond memories of that graduation.

Update: Can’t see what the colours designate but it doesn’t look good.

BFTP: I never was a big fan of Jimi, but hubby was when we first met and I have some nice memories through that. I like Bob Dylan’s original version better, though.

  9. Thanks, Hugs, and Amen to all! 26
