  1. Cartoon: Arlington National Cemetery did not deserve him being there. I watched him yesterday, and he looked like a drunk standing there, wobbling to & fro. A salute is to show respect, which he has never had, nor ever will. He’s a disgrace, imho.
Of all places too, at the respected Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. geesh!

Good vibes, thoughts and prayers to you getting through your chemo. I always have you in my daily prayers, Tom. Take good, good care, when you get home, rest and relax!! And get a nap in too, TC. You deserve it!

This just in: “Looks like Joe B., is taking a page out of Madam Speaker’s playbook. She speaks the truth, following up her statements with ‘I didn’t think he’d (dt) be offended…since he does it all the time.’ Once again, using Trump against Trump.” ~ Vicki M. ~
    2. “This should be on every billboard in every city in the US. ‘American does not need to see the tax return of a billionaire/millionaire who became a public servant. America needs to see the tax returns of public servants who became billionaires/millionaires while being public servants.” ~ Kevin S. ~
    3. 20,475 NEW Covid cases today.  5/26/2020  *statista
    4. “Trump is a dangerous example for children and those who tend to follow him. Not wearing a mask and not social distancing is dangerous. Do NOT follow his example. Protect yourself! Maybe this ignoramus doesn’t care, but you should care about yourself.” ~ Maxine Waters ~
    5. “Bill Barr is missing.Nobody can find him anywhere. Many people are saying that Trump ate him.”~Cathy H.~ (I found this hilarious!!)  smile

    • TJI#2 – I see what Kevin’s thinking is.  But I disagree – it does matter what he/she stole.  And it doesn’t matter when he/she stole it.  A person who stole from corporations and/or customers before going into “public service” WILL steal from taxpayers too, if possible with even less remorse.

TJI#5 – LOL!  Considering the disgusting things we know he eats, it’s not impossible!

  2. Cartoon: I agree with Pat that tRump doesn’t deserve to even been there. He’s never been there for or will ever be there the people who have served their country. He’s a heartless POS.
Lots of thoughts and prayers for your visit today. I’ve been praying that they can come up with a better plan/solution to ease your after effects from the chemo treatment.
Tell Wendy Hello and thanks for me.
    Take care.
    Thanks TomCat

  3. By the time I post this you’ll have left. I hope everything goes smoothly and that you get back safely and not too exhausted. Hey, I can dream.

Cartoon – The majority of military men I have met (and I have met a few) have tended to use stronger language than that. But then, if you did too, it would be unprintable.

Sheesh! Barrf’s Trumpian juggernaut has gotten so bad that Judge Sullivan has felt compelled to get represented by his own attorney. I can’t help but think that future history books are going to read like a James Bond screenplay.

Of course Beau knows that Trump* is not capable of learning anything, and that even JFK couldn’t teach him the slightest thing. But he still makes a good point. And the memory made me smile.

  4. Hoping you are long home by now, and doing well!
    ‘Toon: A sacrilege!
Beau is spot-on about Trump.  A quote from “A Very Stable Genius,” sums Trump up this way: “Iv’e served the man for two years.  I think he’s a long-term and immediate danger to the country.”  Then, there is, from  pg. 170: After a serious gaffe regarding Bastille Day, while speaking to French president Macron, “A senior european official observed ‘He’s totally ignorant of everything. But, he doesn’t care. He’s not interested.”
Where is Barr?  In the same shit-hole as Rudi!  May they rot there, together!

  5. When tRump visits Arlington, he might as well piss on the tombstones.

  6. Thanks and Hugs to all. 23

I needed to infuse magnesium, but no more chemo for now.  When they admitted me to the hospital, the final diagnosis was Septic Shock.  We have a new plan, which I shall explain tomorrow.  Kitty, Kitty nap time.

    • Good to read that you are safely back home.
Get your rest, and see  you tomorrow…take care!!

    • Glad you got back from your appointment.
I know Magnesium plays a big role when it comes to our health. Lack of it can be dangerous.
Look forward to reading what your new plan is all about.
Hope you have a restful night.
      Take care, TomCat

    • I’m checking in after the opera (this one certainly didn’t have just people trying to do the right thing – it had one character as vengeful as Orange Judas), so I don’t know when I’ll be up tomorrow, but wil be anticipating info on the plan.  So glad you got home safely – and that there is a plan.  Sleep tight.

  7. Glad you got back home again, TomCat; tired but a little bit better perhaps with a magnesium depletion fixed. Can’t wait to hear what the new plans are and if it still involves radiation.

3:06 Done that one too often. don’t you think?

Cartoon: He loves the military, but only as a commander-in-chief, far from any mental or goodness forbid physical involvement. And then he refuses to wear a mask in a war against the unseen enemy he has made himself supreme commander in. All to draw attention, but Biden nailed it.

    • There was such a fuss (at Fox primarily, but it spread) made about Joe’s mask that I found I was looking at him (and Dr. Jill) as a costumer would.  What does it convey about the character?  And I do not see how they could have done any better.  The choice of black masks  was reminiscent of mourning bands.  Both were primarily dressed in black, an unmistakable sign of respect in any culture in which black is the color of mourning.  But both also had touches of white (and Joe had a bit of color in his tie – not obtrusive – dark blue and gold) – and what that communicated was (to use an analogy) “Hey, we are not the bride at this wedding.  We don’t want to outshine anyone.  This is everyone’s mourning.”

I don’t know how much of that was good instincts and how much was good advice, but I’m not sure it matters.  Both are desirable in a First Family, and lightyears above what we have now.

  8. Thanks all! 20
