It’s another hectic day here in the CatBox, as I spent considerable time this morning sorting out my appointment schedule for next month’s medical mayhem  It’s going to be a busy month.  I’m pleased to report that I’m back to normal, as Republicosis waved the white flag.  Please expect no more than a Personal Update tomorrow.  To ease our schedule back to normal without another long break,  WWWendy is coming in the morning, instead of Sunday, to de-stink the mangy TomCat.  We have lots of chores to do.  TGIF Hugs to all!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:02 (average 5:05).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

From The New Yorker: The Life-Changing Magic of Impeaching Trump

Dang, Andy! That’s one (im)PEACH of a video! RESIST!!

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): W.H. Chief Of Staff Admits β€˜We Held Up The Money’ To Ukraine

Have you ever noticed how arrogant Republican officials are. Mulvaney was “in your face” haughty.  He might as well have said, “How dare you question our right to steal elections and govern to enrich ourselves?!” RESIST!!

From YouTube (CNN Channel): Mattis mocks Trump’s bone spurs during Al Smith dinner speech

When the Fuhrer, Resident Donald Trump, aka Putin’s Pervert, first appointed Mattis, I stated that I thought Mad Dog might not be a bad dog. I disagree with many of his views, but I was right. He may be misguided, but he means well.  Furthermore, his Trump humor could not be more appropriate. RESIST!!

Vote Blue!!

  1. 5:23 Great indeed.

    Brand new.

Cartoon – Either that or the other kind of mace.

TNY – OT, but PBS has a new series which they call “Retro Report” (based on the idea of past events leading to present events). And Andy will be a regular featured part of it. Here, it airs Mondays at 8 pm, just after Antiques Roadshow. Incidentally, I realize Andy is not a cartoonists but a humorist, but it may not just be as easy as you think to make fun of Traitor Tot. This cartoon was on DU, but it’s copyrighted, to I’m posting just the link,

Lawrence – Fred would never have scolded him for bratty behavior – Fred would have approved. Mary would have been afraid of Fred. (She did eventually “get it” and admitted she had “raised a monster.”) I do think that “Get over it” is going to become an iconic phrase for corruption. I surely hope so. I’m extremely tired of RWNJs telling me “Trump won, get over it.” ETTD (Everything Trump Touches Dies.)

Mattis – He can’t be a 100% Republican – he has a sense of humor. My goodness – he must be younger than I am if his parents were married when I was already a year old. Well. Another sign he’s not 100% Republican – he looks aged over his actual age but still has his mind. And – gracious – his two examples of good leaders are Lincoln and FDR!

    • Randy is adorable and so spot on.
      Such a talent!
Thanks, Joanne for the laughs today.

      • I had qualms, though I know we need humor.  I looked closely at the timing on it … he must have been working on it for at least several days.  When he actually completed the post, Elijah Cummings had passed, but he couldn’t possibly have heard about it yet  Randy may be brutal to the evil, but callous he is not.

    • Loved the Randy 🌈 video, though my stomach’s aversion to Giuliani is increasing by the day and I have a very hard time watching him more than a few seconds. I tend to look away when his face appears and noticed for the first time that Randy’s ‘news’ comes under the network heading of “WTF”. So appropriate.
      Thanks for posting, JD.

  2. Cartoon: Shame they can’t use that on themselves, just to see if it works out…
RA: Holy Moly!!! Sorry about your Broncos, wow!
NYer: Hilarious! “Secure servers full of joy”, lol. Loved the last sentence. Awesome! Andy.
MSNBC: Hole is getting deeper, and deeper….wow!
CNN: Great speech, well done! lol

Glad to read that you’re on the road of feeling better. Hope that you have a relaxing day, take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

    2. “I earned my spurs on the battlefield. Trump got his in a note from his doctor.” General James Mattis, USMC ~
3.”Meanwhile..a spokesperson for the Bus Drivers Union has announced buses will no longer drive past 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. ‘Too much carnage for our drivers and passengers to witness’, said the spokesperson.” ~David M. ~
    4. “Resting in Power, Mr. Cummings’ last action on earth was towards #close the camps,#never again#families belong together. (he signed subpoenas from his hospital bed to protect immigrant children w/serious heath issues that could only be treated in the US. Mr. Cummings also signed a subpoena for Trump’s impeachment.

  3. Wishing KC QB Mahomes a speedy recovery – and Matt Moore best of luck.

    GO CHIEFS!

  4. Good to hear you’ve left all maladies behind, TomCat. Happy showering.

    2:50 Great indeed.

Cartoon: Oh, come on, TomCat. Even Republicans have modernised. They have assault rifles nowadays.

TNY: Some great standup there, Andy. Loved your closing line. It’ll be worse than Black Friday, with people queuing days ahead of visiting day in front of the penitentiary and then be sent on their way on the day because real punishment for Trump is having no visitors he can rant against.

MSNBC: It’s quite believable that Trump was happy with Mulvaney’s press conference and may have even instructed him to say this because it tried to shift the focus from quid pro quo for a Biden investigation  (2020 election campaign) to quid pro quo for a DNC investigation (2016 election campaign). They must have believed that this would have made Trump not impeachable because he wasn’t president then. Or something like that, because why on earth would they dig their graves even deeper if they didn’t think it would help?
Anyway, Mulvaney is on his way out, no matter how much he blames the press for misrepresenting him. Only die-hard Trump followers will gobble that up.

CNN: I only had time for the first two minutes, but they sure were worth watching. Who would have thought that Mad Dog Mattis had such a wonderful sense of humour?

  5. Cartoon: Wish the repugs would test their weapon on the other repugs.
RA: So sorry that your Broncos didn’t do well.
    TNY: Great one, Andy.
MSNBC: Awful to read what Mulvaney said. All full of such illegal doing.
CNN: Loved watching Mattis. He spoke such truth.
I can relate very well to exactly what your schedule is currently facing. Having numerous appointment throughout the week, can make me feel so run down.
    Take care. Thanks TomCat

  6. Thanks and hurry hugs to all. 26
