Trump’s abandonment of our Kurdish allies is a huge, HUGE mistake. Both militarily and diplomatically.
But I do think it will significantly undermine his re-election hopes. I think he’s down to his 35%-40% – which appears to be both his ceiling and his floor. Hasn’t moved much in 3 years now.
That “Fake News” video is vile – but totally unsurprising for the hate-mongering Trumpkin cultists.

NYT: The Kurds were forced to make a deal with Assad to survive the onslaught of Turkish troops and those of the Syrian Rebel forces, a deal brokered by the Russians who support the Syrian President. Remember those Syrian Rebel Forces? They were heavily armed by America because they fought not only Assad but Da’esh too. Now they are executing Kurdish prisoners of war and unarmed female journalists. No, it never was about Erdogan, although he had an easy time influencing Trump, comrade dictators and all. It was always about Russian influence in the area. Putin still has Trump on a leash.
