I disagree. The positive reaction to Yang and his handout to ten people was driven by greed and stupidity. I think most progressives would give up great union insurance, but most voters are not progressives. They are driven by perceived self-interest. I agree debates should be issues-based. That ABC did not end include Warren excerpts says a lot about ABC! Kudos to Rep. Ham! RESIST!!
From Times of Israel: Blue and White leader Benny Gantz on Thursday dismissed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer of a unity government that includes all the religious right-wing parties, insisting that the next coalition should have himself as prime minister, not Netanyahu, and be committed to liberal policies on religious issues.
Earlier in the day, after the leaders of all the parties in the right-wing religious bloc signed a document pledging to recommend Netanyahu as the next prime minister and vowing to enter a coalition only as a single unit, the premier called on Gantz to join a government that includes those parties, pressuring him to drop his demand for a “secular” unity government with Likud.
At a faction meeting Thursday afternoon, Gantz responded to the proposal: “The nation went to the ballots and made a clear choice — the nation chose unity. Blue and White won the elections, Blue and White is the biggest party. I intend to form a broad unity government headed by me, which would reflect the people’s choice and our basic promises to the public and our priorities.”
Kudos to Benny Gantz! Flush Netanyahu [R-IS] and Trump [R-Hell]! RESIST!!

Tomorrow morning is Wound Care Clinic w/ debridement and then wound packing.

Glad you remembered the correct date of your appointment, Nameless, but above all glad it wasn’t as bad as you expected. I hope the same is true for your next medical appointment and cleaning out and packing your wound isn’t too painful. Is that wound on the mend and looking better now?

MSNBC: Republicans and of course Trump again wat their cake and eat it too. Trump is allowed to use the excuse of the prerogative of declassifying any information at his leisure and share it with a foreign agency, but after he has declassified it, Congress wasn’t informed because it is classified; a rubbish excuse as Congress is allowed to see classified information. Of course, nobody speaks about Trump meeting, speaking and telephoning people without notes or recordings being made. That already has become normalized practice. The head of the intelligence service ignoring procedures and involving the DOJ has also become the way of the Trump Era now.
Trae: Sorry, I’ll pass on this one. I didn’t have time for the debates and I have no time to comment on comments given on this debate.
ToI: Without question, anybody is better than Trump’s BBF Netanyahu, but Benny Gantz will only convince me that he’s this ‘good guy’, when he manages to get Lieberman and the Arab parties on his side. For now he’ll be a breath of fresh air only for more progressive or secular Israelis with “A government with all those who believe we need civil marriage and public transportation on Shabbat. Without indictments and without corruption.”, but that means little to the Arab parties which hold 13 seats. Israel is torn apart not only along Israeli-Palestinian lines, but also along the religious-secular line and it needs astrong government of unity to keep it from falling apart and ending up at the polls again in a few months time.
