I’m running way behind schedule, because I got tied up with move prep.  Please pardon my brevity.  TGIF!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:51 (average 5:14).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Lawrence’s Last Word: Trump’s Lies About Why He Didn’t Serve In Vietnam

I believe that Resident Bone Spurs, given the opportunity, would have served in WWII… in the SS Einsatzgruppen. RESIST!!

From YouTube (Robert Reich Channel): Robert Reich: The Impeachment Process Explained

Of course the Reich on the left, Robert Reich, is right. Far too many do not understand the ins and outs of this process. Impeachment by the House does not flush the Fuhrer of the Reich on the right, the Republican Reich. RESIST!!

From The New Yorker: The billionaire Donald J. Trump’s bid to become a born-again Christian failed over the weekend after Jesus Christ turned down his friend request, campaign officials have acknowledged.

Jesus, who has not generally been active on Facebook, made a rare appearance on the social network on Monday to announce His decision to ignore the presumptive Republican nominee’s request for a personal relationship with Him.

In a brief post, Jesus offered the following explanation: “Just everything.”

Andy, Jesus’ response is quite logical. Trump could not be born again without being born before. His initial appearance was due to defecation, not birth. RESIST!!

  1. This cartoon perfectly sums up today’s society in the US.

  2. MSNBC: He’s a cad, always has been. Your comment, Tom, supersedes what I was going to write. btw….QE II spent more time in the Armed Forces than the entire Trump family and their in-laws combined !!!

RR: Absolutely. Excellent video. Passing this on also.

NYer: It’s pretty bad when the Lord won’t even extend his friendship to him. The devil (on the other hand) will gladly embrace this vile and mean man.

    Cartoon: Yep !!

Hope that you get a chance to rest and relax today. Take good care, and Thanks, Tom.

*This just in: “dt disrespected D-day by attacking Pelosi and Mueller on foreign soil.” * Pat B.
    2. “Trump doesn’t have a presidential agenda. Putin does.” ~ Dan D. ~
    3. about dt: “Umm…….”Sir, it’s D-Day, not me day.” ~ Anon ~

  3. 4:53 Do you have a freezer big enough for that?

Not embeddable (at least I can’t see how), so linked. It speaks for itself.

Lawrence – well, he might have been blind drunk for the three full weeks after his graduation, I suppose. He says he’s never touched alcohol … but you know how he lies.

RR – Indeed. Almost no one knows all the ins and outs of the process, since most have never happened, or only once in out lifetime (and that was a travesty). But way too many people who know a little do not know enough. So very few people know, for instance, that Rep Nadler (the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee) has been in conversation more than once with speaker Pelosi about taking step one. He has done so because, without her, a successful step two is unlikely, and that failure would be damaging. There are peititions going around. I personally don’t necessarily “want it done Wednesday,” but I very much do “want it done right.”

    TNY – Straight news?

    Cartoon – Yup.

  4. MSNBC: Donald did nothing that was morally right, because that’s who Donny boy is, morally absent, EMPTY!
    RR: Good presentation!
    New Yorker: What Tom said!
    ‘Toon: Damned shame, but true!

  5. Enjoyed Robert Reich’s video.

But if came down to a choice between impeachment and jail time from felony charges AFTER Twitler was out of office, I’d go with the latter.

(Sure – it’d be wonderful to have both.  But we ALL know the Reichstag … err, Senate under McTurtle would never convict – let alone even allow Articles of Impeachment to even come to the floor.)

You take what you can get, and I’d LOVE to see Twitler behind bars!

  6. MSNBC: I have to agree with your comment, TC.
RR: Love his complete step by step explanation regarding impeachment. Never knew that it had so many steps.
NY: Have to agree with you again, TC.
Cartoon: Sad that it’s so true.
Hope you can get more done with getting ready for your big move. Just don’t overdo it, TC.

  7. Thanks and busy hugs to all. 17

  8. It’s always easy to understand when Robert Reich explains it!!!
