It’s a busy day here in the yucky old CatBox. The move is finally set. I move into the shiny new CatBox on Monday, 6/17. WWWendy and I are going to see the unit unit and make a furniture map on Sunday. I should do the paperwork and get the keys on Tuesday. WWWendy will take loads over on Wednesday evening and Sunday. After moving day, it may be Thursday or Friday, before I get my Internet set up and re-appear.

Rachel – Yes, indeed. It’s laughable that RWNJs think they are going to hurt him with a cockamamie conspiracy “Deep State” made-up story, when this is the only thing that can really hurt him.
Other JD – Actually, the disease is the Republican Party. Trump is just another symptom – although I admit he’s an excessively painful symptom. Now: this is what comes of, what can I call it, celebrity populism? She thinks she can just tweet to him and he will respond in kind. I know that is far from the worst part of this story, but it is the thing that leaps out as “WTF! Who does that?!”
“From Me” – Those who survived, some of whom are still alive, also deserve better. “Stolen valor” is not new … but that term to describe it is … and long overdue. It was an atrocity waiting for a name, and now it has one.
Cartoon – That was High School? I’m old enough to remember when graduations were in June myself – in fact, that was the month and year I graduated from college. Now they all seem to be in May. Sigh.

Dollemore: Being an educator is a “…sacred calling,” and healers are “nurturers and protectors of children.” But bigotry acts like blinders do, wherein one can only see what one wants to see. Pseudo-Christians do not see healing as applicable to those who do not pass their weird litmus test of what it takes to be considered a full human! Educators can have a big role in shaping the future adult, obviously, and this is as close to sacred as it can get. Th U.S. already has enough channels though which it alienates people, we do not need to nurture new ones!
Memorial Day: If any of you know that final, I think, scene from the movie “Carrie,” when she reaches up from her grave to grab a visitor by the neck, I think that would have been a fitting end to any visit by Bozo-Spurs!

My personal news: I will be having a reverse complete shoulder replacement surgery on June 12th, next week. I do not know when I will next be capable of communing with all you wonderful people, after that.
Mitch, I hope your shoulder replacement surgery goes as well as people have been telling me that knee replacement surgery generally does. If it turns out to be slower than that, however, you certainly have my thoughts and prayers, and we will know not to send the police out after you. Take all the time you need – come back when you can.

The Hyde Amendment should have been dumped on the scrap heap of history decades ago. Hell, it should NEVER have been passed in the first place! I’m glad that there is new opposition to it, and in a certain way I’m glad Bye-Bye-dumb gave us another reason to abandon him.
That Clark ogress got what she deserved! She is a bigot who isn’t fit to teach dogs how to fetch. People like her give our great(?) country an ugly reputation.
I salute and thank all those who fought on D-Day and took those beaches, because it was the beginning of the end for the horrible Third Reich. Not one of those who died did so in vain. Yes, “Bone Spurs” should have stayed the hell away; his presence was an insult to all of them!
