It’s another cold busy day here at the CatBox. Yesterday, I sat up and waited until 2 PM for my groceries to arrive. I finally called Store to Door and learned that they had misfiled my order and had not shopped it. They will do so and deliver it today.

From The New Yorker: Amazon drones stand “ready and waiting” to deliver copies of Robert Mueller’s official report, free of charge, to every American household as early as next week, the Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, confirmed on Wednesday.
According to Bezos, Amazon has been planning the Mueller delivery mission for months, quietly building its drone fleet from a meagre two hundred to well over three million.
“Amazon will be doing same-day delivery of Mueller’s report the day it is released, free of charge, to both Prime and non-Prime households,” Bezos said. “This is our way of giving something back.”

Subject line of an email I received this morning with good news:
Colorado legislature passes NPV and sends bill to Governor Polis
The email further states the governor has publicly supported this legislation so is expected to sign, and that this brings the number of Electoral College votes committed to the winner of the popular vote to 181. Another 89 and the Electoral College will effectivelt be history. New Mexico, Nevada, and Maine are all working on passing NPV in their states.
MSNBC – Of course they don’t want us to know what the report contains. But there are many people working to ensure that we do find out what the report contains, and most of them are smarter than Republicans, and many are well placed. I think we will find out. Just maybe not the way we hoped to find out. The deeper quesyion is, will Republican voters care?
The other PP – When Don Caron is quoting Ann Coulter (shhh! Don’t say her name!), you know things are getting even weirder than weird. Excellent footage from great people who are fully credited.
TNY – I’m not a Prime member, but getting it before 10 am is not an issue to me. I am almost never fully functional by 10 am.

Fear of foreigners bringing crime is a hoary notion that has been around for centuries. There are plenty of dangerous people already here, who are citizens. Has anybody checked the nationalities of those who committed the worst mass shootings?
I hope the Mueller Report comes out, and even if it isn’t delivered by drones I would like to at least skim it. There’s a reason why tRump is afraid of Mueller – the political damage would probably be beyond severe. If tRump’s behavior was indeed criminal, I hope that does lead to impeachment and removal from office, to say nothing of a yuuuuge Blue Wave in 2020!
I am no fan of Communism, but at least I know there is a difference between Communism and Socialism.

MSNBC: As I said yesterday, I don’t have high hopes of Barr coming out with a summary that even touches on the truth in the Mueller report, so then we have to wait for the leaks and for investigative journalists following the trail of crumbs Mueller has left them. As soon as it becomes apparent that Barr has concocted his own reality, he’s out on his ear and the House may get the original report. But, of course, then we’ll be very close to the elections. I think Drumf and cronies are betting on the report not going public until after the election.
PP: Fantastic combination of documentary material and an excellent rendering of a good song. The lyrics are A++ as usual.
TNY: I think this would appeal to Bezos in reality, Andy. And to most Americans. If only…

On that subject: I’ll be off-line for the next two weeks, returning to The Netherlands for a short stay. During the two days flying in – leaving tomorrow night – and two days flying back we’re incommunicado, but as we’re staying with friends, family and in a small hotel for the remainder, I’ll probably off the grid until March 8. No doubt Mueller is going to release his report in those two weeks ?

Yes – that happened to me last night, and again now. I tried several things, but the one that worked was filling in what I had to say, THEN hitting “Reply” on the comment I wanted to reply to (and having it go blank),and THEN hitting “Submit” (figuring I had nothing to lose because WP won’t accept blank comments.)
(As you can see, it worked.)

Actually no. The editor is incompatible with WordPress 5.1, so I reverted to CKEeditor that we used to use.
LOL! Well, that may have been overkill, but it did fix the issue. And frankly, I like the additional options CKE provides.
Overkill? It was that or go back to plain vanilla WordPress.
