Bill – Monologue – Mmmm – besides the blue urban parts, the purple suburbs came out against Trump bigly. Other than that, it’s perfect. All I can do is laugh (with some tears in my eyes.)
Woodward – I can see why he got a chill. I have more difficulty grasping why he didn’t get more chills. Chills every time he turned around. Even not interviewing people in the White House, but just reading the “papers.” I do have to say it is good to see someone on television bluntly telling the truth here.
Sarah – “Shit” is neither obscene nor swearing, nor is is a curse. It is in the category of scatology. I personally see nothing wrong with it, especially since it was my mother’s favorite “bad” word, so I grew up with it. But speaking of Jim Acosta, did everyone see the tweet suggesting the entire WH press corps should start prefixing every question with “Jim Acosta wants me to ask …”?
New Rules – Well, obviously I don’t agree with taking the rest of the year off politics. I’m not going to go further here because I said it all in Everyday Erinyes. Not that Bill doesn’t make a good case for staying involved, of course.

Enjoy your evening, we’re fixin’ to go out for dinner. (that’s a big deal in our household).
I couldn’t wait until tonight to watch Bill and of course enjoyed his razor sharp humour. But there was an undertone of disappointment too; a recognition that, though the midterms were a blue success, it doesn’t change things in the next two months and Drumpf and his minions are taking creepy steps to make sure nothing much changes after that either. Both Bill and his guests seem to agree on the fact that Drumpf, or the people around/behind him, is ensuring ways to get elected for a second term, or even longer.
Hearing Nanci Pelosi cooing about Democrats looking forward to a them working bipartisan in Congress, when every one knows the Republican Senate is going to kill everything that comes out of the Democratic House, makes me wonder if the Democratic leadership really understands what is at stake here.
Watched Bill’s show last night.Great as usual.
Monologue: The tRump regime is so insane, we had better hope that we get Regime Change in 2020. Otherwise this nation may not survive.
Woodward: Fear is a weapon that tyrants use. If Rethuglicans get their asses kicked in 2020 (and they will if we progressives vote in droves!), that spoiled orange brat may not accept defeat. Stay the hell out of D.C. if you value your life.
Sarah Silverman: Could it be that, within the next two years, certain people in this country will have to sew stars, or other symbols, on their clothes? As for cuss words, we need profanity.
