Here in the CatBox it’s another hot muggy day.  I don’t feel well, so forgive my brevity.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:20 (average 4:35).  To do it, click here.  Hoe did you do?

Short Takes:

From YouTube (Trae Crowder Channel): On Brett Kavanaugh and His Dream Job

Kudos to Trae. If such allegations disqualify for a college job, they disqualify for the most powerful job on the country! RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

From Crooks and Liars: Brett Kavanaugh was questioned by Senator Amy Klobuchar during his followup SCOTUS Job Interview Hearing and wow, he got nasty with her. She was exploring questions about his drinking and not only did he dismiss her questions, but he threw her questions back at her. Here is the exchange:

I consider it possible that Pervert Kavanookie was so drunk that he does not remember this single victim among the many he has assaulted. Insecurity over that may be the reason he bullied Klobuchar and other Senators. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

  1. Could not believe that Kavanaugh threw back the question to Klobuchar during the questioning. Kavanaugh practically did the same to Feinstein. This is not an act of a potential Supreme Court Justice. Kava’s temperment makes him unfit to become a Supreme Court Justice. Ugh! Makes me think that Kava does not like women questioning him at all.
    .

  2. TCC: Word, Trae, Word !!! I feel what you’re saying!!

C&L: Personally, I think he lied during his testimony. No one gets angry or confrontational when being asked a simple question(s). I found his reasoning (at times) very aggressive. I feel nothing but empathy for those women that he’s abused, and belittled.

    Cartoon: Spot on !!

Oh! No! Hope you’re not coming down with something, stay hydrated, and get your rest too. Enjoy your evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom. p.s. Get your REST!!!

  3. Keep up the fight against Kava-nazi, everybody! Keep contacting your Senators via phone, e-mail, postcard, tweet, singing telegram, carrier pigeon, etc.

It’s a tossup as to whether tRump or Kim is the bigger nitwit.

  4. Love the cartoon!

  5. 4:32 It reminds me of the quip that it was a brave human indeed who first ate a lobster.

Trae – He makes a great point that a college football coach is sacred – at least to their fans and the college treasurer. However, colleges generally are staffed with sane people, more or less. The Senate, at least on the Republican side, isn’t. BTW, I wouldn’t hire Kavanazi for dogcatcher – I’d figure he would be kicking the dogs every time he got a chance.

C&L – I figure he remembers some, doesn’t remember all, doesn’t remember the names of the ones he does remember. But it’s hard to say what’s in the mond of an alcoholic.

    Cartoon – But still good.

    RESIST AND PERSIST !!!

  6. Trae Crowder: Trea is spot on on all aspects. If one allegation of (sexual) misconduct is enough to have an employer close a resume and move to the next candidate, four allegations of sexual abuse should prevent anyone from being appointed to SCOTUS, the highest office in the land where it is the job of justices to hold others to the highest standards, and therefore should be held to those high standards before they’re appointed for life. Four allegations should have been enough, but the way Kavanaugh lost his cool, raged against the allegations and those who came forward with them, and bullied those who questioned him, showed Kavanaugh’s nasty side and should be enough on its own to dismiss him as unfit for office. But apparently the White House instructed Kavanaugh to show emotion, so he did his Drumpf imitation and it worked. Drumpfian tantrums are now the norm, right?

C&L: As I said, bullying is the new norm. Well, actually it is the old norm, but Drumpf has made it acceptable to bully all out and in the open. For men, that is. So, not only vote for Democrats for all available offices, but make sure they’re taken by Democratic women. Get rid of misogynists.

I can quite understand following the hearing and the news and analyses of it all day has made you quite sick, TomCat. Sadly it isn’t over yet and in addition to that we still don’t know what Drumpf has in store for Rosenstein, something that seems to have been forgotten in all th Kavanaugh hectic. So take yourself to bed and get plenty of rest please, TomCat. You’ll need it.

  7. Thanks all!  Pooped hugs! 19
