Sam – Farewells – If Hope doesn’t go “downstairs,” she’ll just find out that “nice, white Protestant heaven” IS hell, exactly as it is here on earth.
Pain I – One benefit of prescribing birth contrrol for endometriosis is that it does reduce the chance of an ectopc pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy which does not get aborted (and there are states whose abortion laws have no exceptions for ectopic pregnancies) is a death sentence for both mother and baby.
Pain II – Excellent segment. I’m an endometriosis survivor, and I can testify that PHENOBARBITOL not only doesn’t work, but doesn’t make the slightest dent. I could go on, but why? One thing about endometriosis is that it makes one incredibly grateful for menopause.
Iraq – There is a grain of truth in the nostalgia, but I think it is based in sarcasm. Irony. You know, that thing that picks the most unlikely counter example to demonstrate the utter ridiculousness of the premise. WRT Iran, I recommend following the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), which is doing the best it can. It does keep one informed on actions one can take. In fact, here’s a petition to block Pompeo.

#1 – The way the Orange Ogre’s cabinet is hemorrhaging people, it will be a friggin’ miracle if it lasts till 2020. Heck, it probably won’t last till November this year! Sessions is a vindictive little pr*ck, eh? But surely the fact that Steve Bannon (hard to tell whether he’s uglier on the inside or on the outside) once headed Cambridge Analytica isn’t sinister – tee hee. Nor is there any conflict of interest in the Kushner affair.
#2 – Women’s diseases are still getting the short shrift. Sexism is alive and well in research.
#3 – We need lots more women in medicine and medical research. Geez – doing pelvic exams on unconscious women? Without their consent? That borders on rape – if it isn’t actually rape.
#4 – “War on Terror” is the stalking-horse our Military-Industrial Complex is using to justify war, as in more defense spending, as in more money for defense contractors – the CEOs, of course, not the rank-and-file workers who subsist on crumbs. <a href=”https://www.thepetitionsite.com/367/932/858/cut-military-spending-dont-increase-it/”>We spend way too much on our military – more than the next 15 countries!</a>
Sam rocks! GWB is still an ass, and always a failure. tDump is surrounding himself with weaker brained ass kissers than one might perviously thought possible. Well, maybe not weaker brained than he is, of course. So, he may be led into a war with Iran, if Bolton gets his way, but he’s already started a new one with China, over the tariffs, as Wall St. gets endometriosis. America likes itself a guy president, who can play super hero on a naval machine, all dressed up like it was his last Hallowe’en party? Oh yeah, he sure is one macho dude! Hey, the Military Industrial Complex boys probably want to have him sainted, in any case.

Sam 4 — Sam does a good job of outlining American imperialist tendencies in the Middle East, specifically Iraq and its desires in Iran. I use the term ‘imperialist’ not to describe the physical takeover of another nation, but to define the way the US seeks to influence nations to do what it wants, or to suffer repercussions such as war. The US hawks need to keep their paws off of Iran and the Iran nuclear deal. Give it a chance! I have no faith in these right wing nut cases . . . Drumpf, Pompeo and Bolton.
