Here is the one hundred eleventh article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is just fired Republican teacher and Trump supporter Dayanna Volitich. She is so honored for turning her public school classroom into a Republican white supremacist propaganda mill.
A social studies teacher at a Florida public middle school has been outed as the host of a white supremacist podcast.
The Huffington Post reports 25-year-old Dayanna Volitich, who teaches at Crystal River Middle School in Crystal River, boasted about spreading her racist views to her students during a recent episode of her podcast, “Unapologetic.” Volitich had attempted to conceal her identity by adopting a pseudonym, Tiana Dalichov, while hosting her podcast or publishing bigoted articles and blog posts.
As Dalichov, Volitich has called for genocide against Muslims, who she believes should be “eradicated from the face of the Earth” unless they can somehow alter the Koran so it no longer calls for the killing of “infidels.” She has written that Islam does not belong in the United States and says the world’s second-largest religion poses an existential threat to Western civilization.
Volitich has also praised Kevin MacDonald, an anti-Semitic author, as well as white supremacists including David Duke. She has said that “science” has proven that certain races are more intelligent than others — guess which — and has repeatedly denied the existence of institutional racism and white privilege… [emphasis added]

With a face like hers, one would be slow to realize that hers is the face of evil. The Republican Reich surely got their money’s worth from her. Not only did she spread her hateful Republican propaganda to the next generation, but also, she did it at taxpayer expense. That has to warrant a parade.

Well, at least until they complete their investigation. And since HuffPo doesn’t engage in conspiracy theory madness like Alex Jones or Sean Hannity – she won’t be coming back.
Here in Georgia a teacher asked her students to draw a Nazi mascot. As far as I can tell, she still works for Gwinnett County. Here is a petition asking for her removal.
I tried to sign it, but it wouldn’t let me, because I already signed it in October.
I don’t know – she looks exactly like the face of evil to me. That “I’m better than you” smug smile combined with the dead eyes. I did know she existed, and I did hear she was out. Sigh. There’s a perennial substitute teacher in California who could really use a real job – and in Florida, there is this. On the bright side, Florida also has the AP civics teacher who trained the Stoneman Douglas survivors on how to think and how to speak up. Pretty much every state is really a mixed bag.
I guess you must be a better judge of women than I am. Pick one for me, OK?

Read about this yesterday. How awful !! If I were a parent of any of these students, I would have filed a complaint with the Superintendent, and administrators. She sure had a lot of gall to do this, and then (fit for a republicon) lied about the nature of her podcasts and information. She’s ‘flagged’ for any future employment for working in any schools too.
Sick, insistently ignorant, dumb fools! I will bet she’s never read, or read about an unbiased description of the Qur’an. For anyone interested in doing the latter, I suggest “What the Qur’an Meant, and Why It Matters,” by Garry Wills.
Apparently, there is nothing about killing infidels (the very word once used by the Catholics to describe Muslims), but only defend themselves. Sharia means “The path,” and is mentioned ONCE in the book, when Gabriel tells Mohammed, speaking for God, that “We have set you on the path.”
Yes there is Sharia Law, but it developed, like Canon Law, long after the time of Mohammed.
Virtually all that has been claimed about Islam, on the news, and in politics, is nothing but agenda driven, twisted ideas. Thomas Jefferson was accused of being Muslim, when he wrote about religious liberty!
She’s so much like all the other Republicans warranting a Parade, she’s into spreading white supremacy for the kicks, to boost her little ego with an increase in followers. Hence the boasting about infecting her unsuspecting students with her pestilent views.
It would all be rather pathetic were it not for the fact that she abuses her position of social studies teacher to influence young innocents with her warped racist ideas and probably managed to do some real harm there. I hope the school will try to set the record straight with those kids in Volitich’s classes and try to undo (some of) damage she did. But somehow I doubt they will; they probably find it much easier to shrug it off as political satire like she did.
