I did have to turn on my AC briefly yesterday afternoon, and may have to do so again today.  It’s amazing how the radiator effect of the sun hitting the wall heats the room 10° – 25° warmer than the outside temperature.  Tomorrow is a holy day in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb, but my Broncos visit to the division leading Chiefs is not until Monday evening.  I slept well, but still feel tired.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 2:54 (average 4:59).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From YouTube (GQ Channel): How Trump Manipulates America With Twitter

Keith has a point. Trump even effects honest media this way. How many times have media focused on what the Twat Twit tweeted instead of matters that needed attention? RESIST!!

From YouTube (Jeff Merkley Channel): Climate Disruption Quiz Episode 6

I got four of five. I picked A for #2. How about you? Kudos to Jeff! Oregon leads the way! RESIST!!

From The Rachel Maddow Show: First charges filed in Mueller’s Trump Russia probe: report

Barbara McQuade, former U.S. attorney talks with Rachel Maddow about new CNN reporting that a federal grand jury has "approved the first charges" in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump Russia investigation.

On whom is the axe falling? Tick… tick… tick… Chick through. She has lots more. RESIST!!

  1. This is an incredibly well done – and drool-inducing – video montage of multiple arrests of Team Trump.

Apparently it was actually posted last August – well before Friday’s Grand Jury indictments.

Either way, we can all agree …

    It’s Mueller Time!

  2. 4:50 (5:20 when I did it)  Finally, something edible.

Keith # 140 – OMFG.  Scary, isn’t it?  Well, I can only look forward to Monday.

Jeff – Well, I missed #2 also; since I knew A was wrong, I picked D.  And I’m not counting #4 because it was on the opening screen shot.  I also missed #5.  So I got 2 for 3.

Rachel – They seal warrants when there is a flight risk.  There used to be a joke that you could send unsigned telegrams to everyone in any group (such as all the men in a town, or Congress) saying “Fly, all is discovered,” and by the next morning, that group would virtually disappear.  Once that was true.  With today’s cognitive dissonance, I don’t think anyone will try to flee over the weekend.  But if I’m wrong, I’ll bet they are apprehended at the airport.  The video is impossible – I’ll try to come back and see whether I can make it work.

Cartoon – Waste of perfectly good citrus.

  3. KO: You know, I never really thought about this, until Keith brought it up. So true!!!

Mr. Merkley: I got 3 correct out of 5. I gave a low # for Repugs on question 2, and didn’t know 5.

RM: omg! This is welcoming news!! I’m delighted to watch Rachel share this. Glad the grand jury passed the True Bill. YAY!!

    Cartoon: Bleck!!

My guys play Seattle tomorrow, and the Astros won, 5-3 in game 3! Winter is here,.. jk,..but it sure was cold this morning. Supposed to be this way for a week or so, then warm up. Hope that you have a great, relaxing evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.

  4. Keith:  I am not on Twitter, nor on Facebook, but have long believed that we ought not take Twitter form tRump, as that is where we can witness the twisted workings of his mind as they unfold, but, yes, Keith does have a point there.
    Merely rocks!
Rachel: I posted a story about this, this morning: http://www.care2.com/news/member/565542931/4074845 and I am being hopeful.  One hope is that Mueller is about to nail Manafart, but the list is long.
Miller is piss water beer, but I’ll take me a hogshead of Mueller time!

  5. I have been attending the Women’s Convention in Detroit, MI, and have learned a lot of great stuff about the issues women of all colors and types face – heck, issues that affect ALL of us – and how to get active. How to organize coalitions, how to engage with local and state legislators, how to fight the horrific Prison-Industrial Complex.
The “Haterade” looks awfully like elephant p*ss to me.

  6. Keith Olbermann #140: Sadly all too true, Drumpf is the FDR of Twitter. Like it or not he is able to manipulate both his gullible base and – through the media –  us, because he is tweeting from White House. By abusing his position, Drumpf makes those tweets carry far more weight and “”truth”” than had he be just some mediocre show star.

Rachel Maddow: Speculation is the only thing possible right now, but it’s unlikely that those first charges will be of anything but small fry at this stage. Mueller seems to be a guy that takes no risks, will only bring charges before the grand jury when he’s certain they will be accepted and he doesn’t seem to charge anyone before he’s got the whole picture and a full set of charges can be made. We’ll just have to wait and see. The only thing good about it is that we can be sure that the Drumpf clan won’t sleep well for a while.

Cartoon: With the fresh lemons on it, this stuff looks deceptively “cool”

  7. Thanks all.  Ellipsoid Orb Hugs! 18
