It’s that time of week again, and I’m happy to share three video clips from Bill’s show last night.  Enjoy!!

Monologue: Dotard Trump

Kim Jong Un was almost right. Rather than dotard, Trump is a doTURD.

Bob Costas: Football on the Brain

I agree with everything they said.

New Rule: The City Mouse and the Country Mouse

He certainly has a point. I loved the crack about having his last wife delivered.

I hope you enjoyed them.

RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

  1. Don’t upload these to Care2.  I’ll do it when I return. 07

  2. Bill – Well, I don’t believe I have ever seen the word “dotard” outside of The Lord of the Rings (and, oh yeah, Shakespeare), and I certainly didn’t expect to see it any time soon.  (Hint:  it means something like “Alzheimer’s sufferer.”)  BTW, Bill didn’t specify which is “Fat Man” and which is “Little Boy” – it could go either way.

Brain damage – I married a man with brain damage from a car accident, and I know a LOT about brain damage and impulse control.  And short term memory.  It has now been more than 50 years since that accident, and he still forgets in the middle of sentences what he started to say.  And he knows it’s happening and the frustration is painful, not just for him, but for anyone who is with him.  Speaking of hubby, we have an in-joke that I can call him an SOB and it’s no reflection on him, it just means I knew his mother.  Well, Kap’s birth mother spoke out publicly and loudly against his protests.  QED. /s  (His adoptive mother supports him, thank God.)

City-Country – Bill has a lot of points.  And he left out one of the strongest ones.  Rural America is where the farms are.  Farmers grow crops.  They use pesticide-tainted GMO seeds.  They live with aerial spraying of herbicides.  It is iffy how much of the diversity-art-whatnot they could even grasp if exposed to it.  Toxins are not known for their strengthening effect on brain cells.

  3. All three good, Thanks, Tom.

  4. Bill #1:  I have long thought that if Rumpy really wants to get rid of “fur’ners” he ought to start with Murdoch!
Bill #2: I have given up football, for the most part, will watch the Super Bowl.  Sometimes the athleticism is beautiful, but we’re enriching the wealthy owners, who, for all the jingoism involved, do NOT PAY TAXES!  But I have also given up, for the most part baseball, as well.  Will track the Yankees (I’m a kid of The Bronx) on the news.  Still, the football cracking of heads is a sad thing, and the trauma associated with it is serious, but you knew that.
Bill #3:  “You enrolled in Trump University.”  What a great line!!!!!  This is what narcissistic manipulators do, just like Elmer Gantry!

  5. I’ll have to watch later.  It’s late and it’s been a long day.  The siren sounds of my pillow are beckoning!

  6. Bill Maher #1: Two of my favorites this week: “…And all the Republicans said: “What’s ‘good conscience’?” & “Robert Mueller is close to figuring out who in the Trump campaign isn’t a Russian spy”

Bill Maher #2: Skipped that one due to lack of time and interest

Bill Maher #3: “When Trump watches the Beverly Hillbillies he roots for Mr. Drysdale.” Yup, that’s Drumpf to a T.

Thanks for my one of my weekly laughs, TomCat. Much appreciated 28

  7. Thanks all.  Hugs! 20
