Here are the results of our “Republicans in Hellfire” poll. Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories. Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population. Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking of the majority of those who actually do think.

Well, after a couple polls that were all entertainment, the new poll brings up a very serious subject. Illustrating your choices with examples would be ideal.

I think I’ll stick with Ryan for the reasons I gave. I know you don’t believe in hell – I do, but not one with flames, and not one which anyone is sent to, but one which they choose willingly because they cannot handle the requirements of the alternative. I’m not sure they will really suffer all that much, but at least we won’t have to look at them any more, and that’s a good thing.
JD, I don’t discredit the notion of hell, just the Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christian version. I have absolutely no idea what happens after death. I accept by faith that my existence will improve. I do believe that karma exists, so it’s possible that Scalia has returned as a flea on a Russian hooker with a bird’s eye view of Trump

Good to see that most of your poll-respondents, whether they believed in hell or not, thought that all should be punished in some way or another, TomCat. Each deserves punishment as much as the others, but it gives us some gratification to think up a different kind of punishment for each of them. We can dream, can’t we? And knowing the audience here, I think it’ll all be in good taste and in our own version of alter reality.

All equally! They are all crooks, stealing from the poor to give to the rich. What makes it worse in my mind, is that they all profess to be Christian. There is not a Christian among them.
