I went to my medical appointment, and they sent me to the lab for x-rays and a blood test, because the arthritis in my hands is so severe.  When I finally got done, the bus cruised by when I was 50’ from the stop,  Grrr!!  It’s now 2:00 PM, to late to begin research, so this will be it for today,   I have the results from my CAT-Scan,  My COPD has not worsened, and I have no signs of lung cancer.  Have a fantastic afternoon and evening,

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 2:44 (average 4:10).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

  1. Glad to hear you are having good results on your COPD. The fronts that are going through here have every scar and arthritic joint that I have taking turns on who's up to swell and ache! This front has been stuck over us for 4 or 5 days and I'm about fed up with this!!! Plus, the fact that the CDC's new "guidelines" have me in a fizz about any kind of pain meds, I'm just staying in bed and hoping for the best. Hope you feel better, friend. It's just TOO much for me.

    Love the cartoon!

  2. Bad, bus … bad, BAD bus!

Good, CAT … good, GOOD CAT!

  3. 4:22  You're welcome to the fricassee by me, though Lynn will likely stop you.

What a frustrating day for you!  OGIM to the max.  At least the can results are good.

Cartoon – Thanks for giving credit to the forgotten ones.  I thought they were Whigs, though – I thought the Tories were the traitors.

    Amen to Nameless!

  4. So glad you got some good news for a change.  Smack the bus driver next time, just joking.  Love the cartoon.

  5. Puzzle — 2:51  This little bird flies backwards and forwards and is very, very fast.  Here's hoping that is enough to keep him from being a Puddy Tat snack!  I tried but I flew into a tree.

Cartoon — And if that was 2016, Republicans would likely yell "Drumpf is coming!  Drumpf is coming!"

I've seen some bus drivers here wait for someone who is close to the stop and they waive down the bus.  Too bad that driver did not wait.  The CAT scan was certainly good news and modt welcomed I am sure.

  6. Undoubtedly you were happy to hear that your COPD hasn't worsened and there were no signs of malignancies in your lungs, and I think we all are. Some good news was due. You already knew your arthritis in your hands is bad, and just giving you more painkiller isn't the way to go, so checking your hands out and then prescribing a specific medication targeting arthritis is not all bad. Just a lot more hassle you could do without right now. So take it easy and have another catnap. I believe my eucalyptus scented ones are very good for swollen joints.

  7. Hate to pop anyone's bubble on the Historic Ride of the three men who rode the midnight ride on April 18, 1775.

Genealogy chart showing how Samuel Prescott (Completed Paul Revere's Midnight Ride) is the 5th great-granduncle to President George W. Bush (43rd U.S. President) via their common ancestor of Abel Prescott.

Yes, smack that bus driver the next time you see him. lol.

  8. Thanks all.  To be fair, it wasn't the drovers fauly.  I still had to cross ite street to get to the stop, and a friver in the crosswalk  blocked the driver's line of sight to me.

  9. Gosh, what kind of treatment will they do for your arthritic hands? That's so painful. Great news about your COPD!!
Geesh, most bus drivers here will wait for a passenger, that's a shame he/she didn't.

Thanks, Jim for the link, I'll read it later on this history of the Bushes. ;-(

We have had 9.5 inches of rain so far this week. More predicted. I helped a neighbor this morning, her dining room, and back porch is flooded, from so much rain. We lost power from the transformer just got it back on.
Hope that you have a relaxing evening, take care, and thanks, Tom.

  10. No cancer, COPD not progressed, I call that a great day!
