Because my stump is swollen,  I’m under orders to keep a shrink wrap on it and spend as much time as I can in bed with my stump elevated as I can, until my doctor returns on Thursday, or the swelling abates.  So I’ll be mostly offline for a few days.  On Monday I do have to get my power chair measured, so I can go to the doctor Thursday.  Hugs to all, and thank you for your patience.

I’m amazed they didn’t impeach Obama.

  1. Thanks so much for the update.  I hope the power chair measuring goes well and helps get the whole issue resolved.  Prayers and hugs.

Don't count your chickens yet.  There's still a year to go.  However, I think they have learned that there are even better ways f making a sitting President look bad, even if those ways border on sedition and treason.  Unless the President gets a blow job.

  2. I'm so glad that you've been in touch with your doctor's office. I wish you could see him sooner. Be well

  3. Thanks for the update, TomCat. I'm so glad you consulted some professionals and listen to their advise. It's hard to do as your told as a feline, especially if that means you can't sit behind your computer, but you don't want to return to the hospital, do you. Good luck with the chair fitting, I hope you'll make it to the doctor's. Doesn't she make house calls? A doctor closer to where you live now would really be an improvement.

  4. Thanks all.  I will be considering a new doctor for the new year.  Hugs!

  5. Ouch! Hope the irony about the wheelchair measurement arrangements persist through Mon.

  6. WOW, an appointment on Christmas Eve? That's weird. Usually they are gone for the holidays by then.

I do hope the swelling subsides and you can find out why it swelled in the first place and get that adjusted.

    Peace!

  7. You don't  have to thank us.  We are all rooting for you and glad you are able to be here again.  The main thing is for you to take care of yourself.

Cartoon:  Yes, I well remember that day and the terrible waste of tax dollars it was.  Who knew that the GOP could get worse than it was then?
