Yep, courtesy of Trump’s own words below, ISIS recruiters can take a break & just loop The Donald’s unfathomable hate-mongering words over and over.

Donald J. Trump called on Monday for the United States to bar all Muslims from entering the country until the nation’s leaders can “figure out what is going on” after the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, Calif., an extraordinary escalation of rhetoric aimed at voters’ fears about members of the Islamic faith.

A prohibition of Muslims – an unprecedented proposal by a leading American presidential candidate, and an idea more typically associated with hate groups – reflects a progression of mistrust that is rooted in ideology as much as politics.

Trump has smashed Godwin’s Law to smithereens!

Because when it comes to comparing Trump to Hitler, Donald passes the “Duck Test” with flying colors!

Don’t know about you, but I’m beginning to believe this is NOT “just” a candid shot.  What do you think?

Looking forward to TC’s, Lynn’s, JLA’s & Judi’s more detailed analysis – if they’re so inclined.

  1. Godwin's Law: a meme used by Republicans and pseudo-intellectuals to evade the many obvious commonalities between today's Republican Party and the German Nazi Party, before Hitler became the dictator.

    • Signed petition.

Nameless, I assume you were including me in that….  I don't know how much of an analysis this is by me, but I have a couple of impressive sources, I think.

How's this title?   This is fascism, and we should say it clearly … while we can.  I am old enough to remember when there were things one couldn't say – not because they were "politically incorrect," but because they could get into your "permanent record" and prevent you from ever getting a job for life.  Or so we were told.  Remember blacklisting?  I wish I understood how we could, as a nation, so consistently choose the wrong side of things so consistently for so long.

In response to the pig's head debacle in Philadelphia, someone posted, ""When you offend the moral sensibilities of Dick Cheney, you really have invented a new kind of evil."  Yes, even Dick Cheney thinks The Donald has gone too far.  Smoke that.

It is only common sense that, when you polarize yourself against a group, you push that group to polarize itself against you.  D'oh!  My only hope is that The Donald has picked so many groups, and some of them can vote, that this will eventually rebound against him.  Here's a quote from Shahriar Chowdhury, a Muslim veteran:  "I never imagined I’d see the day a leading Republican candidate for President of the United States would call for banning all Muslims from coming to the United States, or that American Muslims overseas shouldn’t be allowed to return home.  If I had the chance, I’d ask Mr. Trump if he wouldn’t have wanted me to return home after the 15 months I served in Iraq? Would he want to kick my cousin, Shaniyat, out of the Marine Corps? Would he ask my cousin Adil, an NYPD Officer to turn in his badge? How about my other first cousin, Arif, an Air Force veteran, would he tell him to leave the country after his service?"

Now excuse me please, I need to go spit some nails.

  2. I wish to Ban T-Rump

  3. Yep. Trump is like a "duck" in Godwin's Law.

Many of the Republican candidates are bigots, racists, anti-immigrant. anti-women, outright discriminators. The only difference between Trump and all the other candidates is that Trump is outspoken in his position. All of the other candidates are "quiet" about their own positions of bigotry, racism, immigrants and so on. Trump is actually the true face of the GOP whether the RNC wants to admit it or not. The RNC won't admit it at all to the public but privately they might.

One other factor in this debate: If Trump does not get the support of the GOP, he can and will run as an independent.

We really need to go after the people responsible for the rise of ISIS meaning, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others from that administration. Maybe if we gave ISIS those people, they might stop their murderous spree.

  4. This is related to the petition in JL A's comment box # 2 above which was for the House of representatives.

The Visa Waiver reform bill just PASSED the House by a 407-19 vote.
As we warned yesterday, this bill threatens to restrict the ability of Iranian Americans from traveling to Europe – as well as Americans who have travelled to Iran. Moreover, it will bar people in Europe from traveling to the U.S. without a visa if they are Iranian dual nationals or have visited Iran since 2011.

Politico reported this morning that, indeed, the European Union has warned lawmakers that these restrictions may be imposed on Americans if the bill passes.

This is bad, but the fight is not over: we can stop this bill in the Senate.

    New Petition for the Senate.

  5. It is a very sad state that the corporate ownd US media has so much control of the minds of the public. People in Australia, Europe, South Africa, etc.. get better news reporting than we get from our own networks which means we have to go seek the truth and the fact is that most Americans are just too damn lazy to do that. Even when you hand them facts on a platter, if it doesn't fit their ideals & dillusions, they will quickly dismiss it and call you some derogatory name in the process. The movie "Idiocracy" is supposed to be a comedy but it becomes more prophetic with each passing day. The one thing we (Bernie supporters) have is that as long as we get out to vote, we can easily win. The GOPs best strategy if a low voter turnout. Trump, Carson. Hillary and the rest of the GOP clowns get all the media attention because the last thing these corporations want is Bernie Sanders in the White House.
