It’s a lazy Saturday.  Rmoney is too busy grubbing $millions and making corrupt deals to provide us with Willardisms.  I’m current with replies.  Tomorrow appears routine.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 4:00 (average 4:50).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From MoveOn: This Is The Effect Obama REALLY Had On The Private Sector

23PrivateSector

Just before the effect Obama had, you can see the effect Bush had and Rmoney would have, since their policies are so similar.

From NY Times: The Supreme Court’s ruling this week in Knox v. Service Employees International Union is one of the most brazen of the Roberts court. It shows how defiantly the five justices act in advancing the aggressive conservatism of their majority on the court.

The court’s moderate liberals were rightly dismayed by the majority’s willingness to breach court rules in pursuit of its agenda. In this labor union case, there is no getting around that the legal approach is indistinguishable from politics. The court’s five conservatives ruled that in 2005, Local 1000 of the Service Employees International Union should have sent a notice to all nonmembers it represented when it imposed a temporary 25 percent increase in union dues for public-sector employees in California to fight two anti-union ballot measures.

As long as Republicans are able to appoint Injustices like the fascist five, SCOTUS will be a place, where the Constitution takes a back seat to plutocratic dogma.

From USA Today: If there was any doubt that Mitt Romney’s business record would be an election issue, President Obama’s team is erasing it this weekend.

Rmoney certainly is an outsourcing pioneer!

If you see any Republicans, let them know it’s over.  They won the war, but lately, they have switched to the loosing side.

  1. Headline of the Year (maybe decade) from the "Business Insider" in an article by Henry Blodget

Corporate Profits Just Hit An All-Time High, Wages Just Hit An All-Time Low

http://www.businessinsider.com/corporate-profits-just-hit-an-all-time-high-wages-just-hit-an-all-time-low-2012-6   And if the RATS of SCOTUS feel that "special notice" is so damn important that it's now mandatory to let Union members decide if they want to "opt-in" on political issues, it would seem fair and logical that Corporations ALSO provide "special notice" to their Stockholders so THEY can opt-out when they engage in political activity.   (Think there's a famous aphorism addressing that about sauce … goose … gander)

  2. Puzzle —  4:27 Two in a row — that's the longest winning streak I've ever had!  By winning streak, I mean coming in under the average.  Eeehaw!!!  But still no threat to the 3 amigos!

MoveOn — I love simple graphs that even Faux Noise acolyte low-effort thinkers can follow and understand without the interpretive services of Faux Noise!  They'll let FN tell them anyway!  Mr  Obama rocks!

New York Times — I'm not a fan of Pluto the dog!  I'll bet he just tears up that paper called the constitution!  I'm also not a fan of the 5 Injustices of SCOTUS!  Would someone please smack the Injustices and Pluto on their noses with the constitution!

Obama – Rmoney — It seems that Mr Obama is playing hardball finally and calling Rmoney on his record.  Hallelujah!

Cartoon — So, the American  Civil War ended in 1865.  How come the southern states seem to still be fighting it 147 years later?

    • Good one!!

It does make it hard to deny!

      LOL!  I wish I could!

      Amen!

Exactly my point!  Officially the war ended earlier, but Watie commanded the last units of holdouts.

  3. 4:13 It's up to Jerry today.
