Our eleventh full month since we moved from Blogger was much better than last month. Although not back to the heady days leading up to the elections, weโre improving in all statistical categories.
Here are our basic stats:

Here is our most recent Clustrmap, last updated on December 25.

Thereโs some linkey-love in return The best ways you can publicize Politics Plus is to use the share button at the bottom of each post to list our articles on the the sites where you belong, and to quote PP articles on your own blogs. The operative commandment here is โthou shalt steal.โ Weโre on the same side here, so I wonโt mind. Even if you want to repost a whole article, thatโs OK. Just link back, please.
Technorati was strange again last month. Our global authority and rank is lower than last month, but we increased in authority and rank in all three topical areas. How can that be? I still have absolutely no idea.
- Global 520 (rank 2,839)
- US politics 597 (rank 166)
- Politics 550 (rank 280)
- World 466 (rank 278)
We have 169,169 links on other websites, down from 278,133 last month.
We have 1,903 posts and 14,396 comments, as of midnight 2/1.
If you are tired of our wacky avatars and would like your own avatar, go to Gravatar. Sign up using the email address you use to post comments here and upload the image you want to use. Whenever you comment under that e mail address here or on any WordPress blog (several others too), that will be your avatar.
Now weโre in a slower political time, because the next major election is almost two years away, so I donโt expect us to put up the same numbers we did last year. Nevertheless, I think we have an important role to play fin ding and sharing the facts that are too honest for the mainstream media to touch and evaluating events from a left wing perspective, but with honesty and integrity. Welcome aboard. Without your participation, this would just be an average blog.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

There’s an interesting dividing line down the middle of the US. I assume it is along the Mississippi River which forms the border of many states.
That’s exactly where it is, Jerry. Our drop in popularity just to the west is explicable, because it is one of the most right wing areas of the country.
Congratulations Tom, hope you are well!
Thanks Jim
Congratulations!
You seem to get more traction in a month than I get in an entire year!
Thanks Ivan. I have a broader audience.
I jumped through the roof right after the Tea Party Massacre, but things have settled back down again.
My most popular posts are the ones attacking the boomers, Mama Grifter, and religion. And as you know, I like to give people what they want, so… ๐
LOL, JR. Some posts that have gone viral have been ones I wasn’t expecting to do so.
It’s cause you bust your ass, TC. Big props to you.
Thanks, Oso. I admit it. I do.
Big props, indeed! You are so nice and never act high and mighty (as you actually deserve to act. ๐ You just keep delivering great information. Thanks and congratulations!
Thanks Billie. While I am not always civil in my editorial treatment of public figures, I believe that anyone who replies here deserves civility, regardless of their view. Shredding arguments id fine, but I see no need to shred people here.
Wow! That’s Fantastic! Congratulations!
Welcome Jer! ๐
I have your new digs in the blogroll.
