The Next Third Party?

in As a rule, I have a problem with third parties, although I often agree with their goals.  Historically, they have tended to help Republicans achieve elected office, and Republicans often finance their inclusion on the ballot to split the lefty vote.  So I would not vote for a third party candidate, unless first, I support their candidate’s positions, and second, either the candidate has a solid chance to win, or the Democrat in the race is just to heinous to support.  Here’s a third party that could never get my vote, but that I would love to see formed.

Today, Cindy and Mike Jacobs of Generals International held a webcast to discuss the meaning of last week’s elections and Cindy proclaimed that despite the Republican wins, the nation would see the rise of a third party based on God’s righteousness that will be led by people like Marco Rubio as proof:

I have to admit that I had not noticed that, but Jacobs is correct…

Aren’t third parties that split the right-wing vote a great idea?

  1. Shit I am tearing up my goddamn leftist democratic socialist card and going into that party of prophetic fucking goddamn justice!<<<<God told me to write that.

  2. Yes. I’m hoping it will be the “Cindy Jacobs Please Go Away” party.

  3. First of all, wtf is she wearing? Second of all, the bible never mentions abortion – that’s a man made thingy. Check it out…I’ll wait..

Please theocrats, pick a couple of states and we’ll send you there (after we get the dems out, Blue Dogs can stay) and we’ll wall your asses off. 😛

    • Lisa, I didn’t notice. If fact, if that woman was nekked, I wouldn’t notice. The Bible does, in a way. I don’t remember chapter in verse, but in Leviticus, it says that if a man kills a pregnant woman in an assault, he gets the death penalty, but if he assaults her and she loses “her fruit”, he has to pay her husband money. So the Bible differentiates between the fetus and the born.

      Good idea.

    • Either it’s her Vash the Stampede costume for an anime convention afterwards, or a Mao suit gone horribly wrong.

  4. I love third parties, at least when it’s a rightwing third party. You go, Cindy and Mike! Come on conservatives, don’t vote for those wimpy Republicans. Vote for Cindy and Mike. They speak for YOU.
