Michelle Bachmann has been a long term source of comic relief for all who are saner than she, and that’s most of the population. Lately, she demonstrated her complete idiocy on a trifecta of subjects.
There are a lot of disturbing ideas in the pledge that the FAMiLY Leader is asking Republican candidates to take, among them the idea being gay is a choice (presumably heterosexuality’s totally genetic), or the statement that sex is inherently better after marriage. But I think it’s worth singling out the part of the pledge where candidates who take the pledge — to this date, only Michele Bachmann — promise that they’ll provide “humane protection of women and the innocent fruit of conjugal intimacy..from human trafficking, sexual slavery, seduction into promiscuity, and all forms of pornography and prostitution, infanticide, abortion, and other types of coercion or stolen innocence.”…

To keep that pledge she’ll have to charge at least 3/r of the House Republican Caucus, maybe more!

I’ve spent the last day reading articles about Michele Bachman; do you ever notice that neither her kids that are still at home (there are at least 2) or her husband never come on her little gambits with her?
Banning porn is against free speech – I don’t even think SCROTUS would go for that one.
Slaves were better off then than they are now – look, their are plenty of families headed up by single mothers -mine being one of them – and their kids are just fine, Go the fuck away Michele.
The gay thing is the one she likes the most – her husband runs a “ministry” that helps “ungay” people. Did you read that right – he tries to convince them that they are not gay. So far, and I don’t know how many people he’s counseled in this way, only 2 people have come forward to say they are no longer gay. We’ll see how long that lasts. Her husbands “counseling” ministry really should be investigated. (Are you listening Darrell Issa?) How can he get government Medicaid money for dubious, unproven therapy of a religious nature?
Hundreds of Republican appointees “burrowed in” to permanent “nonpartisan” jobs is most agencies. I earned that Obama should root them out when he took office.

Ignorant, racist and bigoted – sounds like a perfect Republican/Tea Party candidate! Hope she gets nominated – I think/hope that even the majority of Americans – as stupid as they tend to be – will be frightened of this nut case!

Bachmann buys the lie:
“Hey, slavery maybe bad … but the kids got to live with Mom & Dad!”
Of course this ignores the facts that “Dad” was frequently the “Master” – and that blacks, since they were considered property, were never able to be married, since marriage is a contract and it was illegal for slaves to enter into a contract.
But other other that, Bachmann seems to think it worked out pretty well for them.
Bachmann would like nothing better than to be called “massa”.
She really needs to stop drinking that insani-Tea!

I hope other Republicans are too smart to sign this pledge. What a tone deaf document!
