What is Executive Time?

Somebody on the staff of Putin’s Pervert have enraged and embarrassed him by leaking his secret schedule.  While most Presidents have worked overtime on the nation’s business, this Resident spends 60% of his day in "executive time".  That begs the following question.  What, pray tell, is executive time?  I have two suggestions, illustrated by the two graphics displayed  below.

Over the weekend, we got a closer look at President Donald Trump’s “executive time” thanks to a leak of his schedule from the White House.

Alexi McCammond and Jonathan Swan from Axios published three months of the president’s private schedule on Sunday after someone from within Trump’s orbit leaked the information to McCammond. The information shows that Trump has spent 297 hours — or 60 percent of his scheduled time — since around the midterms in so-called “executive time,” hours of the day when there’s nothing specific for him to do.

That doesn’t mean he’s not doing anything — a White House official told Axios that Trump is always calling and talking to people and “always up to something; it’s just not what you would consider typical structure.” The schedules published don’t list all of Trump’s meetings and activities.

The schedule is a big deal not just because of what it reveals of Trump’s activities but also, and perhaps even more importantly, because the leak even happened in the first place. It is a notable act of subversion for someone that close to the president’s orbit to send to a reporter three months of what is supposed to be private information.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman noted as much on Twitter. “A White House aide is weaponizing his schedules, which says a lot about how people in the White House feel about the man they work for,” she wrote…

Here it is from CBS.

Finally, here is my other suggestion.

  1. Unfortunately the video is not available in Canada.  Having said that, I did view Diaper Don’s schedule elsewhere where it was indicated that “executive time” was described as TV time (Faux Noise cartoons with their nitwits likely proud to see so much time devoted to their BS), tweeting, document reading (this is very little time since he hasn’t the attention span or skills to read without pictures) and phone calls to friends etc.  I guess this is proof that he prefers pictures.  I was also very surprised that on most days quitting time was 1700 hours precisely.  I bet a lot of Americans would like to have his schedule — little work and big pay cheque.  Has his tweet storm over the leak stared yet?  When it comes, it will likely rival the polar vortex!

BTW, I referenced Trump’s golden throne in a comment a few days ago — this last picture is exactly that!

  2. I have yet to find a PDF of his “schedule” chockablock full of important activities.

But I did find a dedicated site that has JUST the schedule, and nothing else, from the DocumentCloud:

    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/5720284-Axios-President-Donald-Trump-Private-Schedules.html#document/p2

  3. Good grief! Kudos to the staff member who got this out, anonymously, of course. That toilet is as worthless as he is, imho.

  4. Both of your graphics are extremely plausible. But may I suggest a third scenario? Watching Fox News with hamberder in one hand, diet Coke in the other, and smartphone on speaker.

Incidentally, have you seen how Twitter reacted when Newt Gingrich tried to compare Trump to Churchill because “Churchill took naps”?

  5. Unstructured “executive time”? He has a freaking country to run! Run, not ruin! So, what is this executive time for – playing with his toys? That smug face of his would look great on a dart board.

  6. That is the most revolting, sh*t eating grin to ever be seen in public!
I do not think he will be showing it after a little more time goes by.

  7. Can’t see the video down in Oz, but to everyone but his die-hard followers it has long become clear that Drumpf is just a lazy, lying SOB. Sixty percent unscheduled time – and that probably doesn’t include his weekends at one of his golf courses – means he’s watching a lot of Faux news and Sesame street, but also that he’s still running his companies if he’s on the phone so much. Because that’s how he’s always run them: over the phone. Isn’t it time some commission looked into all that executive time?

Sigh…perhaps not. As I’ve said before, if all Drumpf’s possible untoward behaviour is going to be looked into, the Democrats have no time left to create all that much needed progressive legislation. Perhaps later, eh?

  8. Glad the truth finally got out. I have been bi*ching all these months/years since he has been in the W.H. that he has been doing nothing worth while that a real president would be doing.
He just screws around, tweeting on his golden toilet, playing golf at his golf course and ignoring the important issues of our country.
I pray that these Democrats get their butts moving at getting him removed from his post. They need to do it NOW…not later or our world is going to be in a bigger mess than it currently is.

  9. Video unavailableThe uploader has not made this video available in your country. ☹️

“Trump’s days in the Oval Office are relatively short – from around 11am to 6pm, then he’s back to the residence. During that time he usually has a meeting or two, but spends a good deal of time making phone calls and watching cable news in the dining room adjoining the Oval. Then he’s back to the residence for more phone calls and more TV”

i want a job like that!!!

  10. It makes sense that he would have all of this unstructured executive time.  He can’t read and he can’t concentrate on anything for more than five minutes at a time.

  11. Thanks, Huga and Amen to all. 22
