The oppressed people of the Totalitarian Corporate Plutocracy of Fitzwalkerstan took a giant step towards making their state Wisconsin once again.  Teabagger Pam Galloway, one of the four Republican Senators slated for recall, has resigned effective midnight this morning.  That means that the Republican Party no longer controls the Senate, putting the kibosh of Fartfuhrer Walker’s plans to do more damage, between now and his own ouster in June.

17Wisc…On Friday, one of four Republican state senators facing a recall election in the next several months, Pam Galloway, announced she was resigning. While the timing of her resignation would make any normally skeptical person wonder if this is a case of a you-can’t-fire-me-I-quit exit, she cites family reasons. (Republican Gov. Scott Walker faces a recall vote, too.)

While her resignation doesn’t change the fact that a recall election will take place, according to a state official quoted by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, it does create a Wisconsin senate that will be evenly split between Republicans and Democrats with both parties controlling 16 seats apiece. Once the recall election is held, one or the other party will have a one-seat majority.

For the time being, however, the top Republican and top Democrat will be the co-leaders of the chamber. That could prove interesting in a state where the bad blood between the two parties rivals the nation’s capital and protests in the past year rocked the statehouse in Madison… [emphasis added]

She may cite “family reasons”, but it is far more likely that she simply lacks the courage to face the consequences for the total disconnect between what she and other Republicans said they would do when elected and what they actually did after too many voters believed their lies.

This is a great day for the heroes of Fitzwalkerstan, whose dedication and hard work is beginning to show the signs of freeing their state from tyranny.

(Republican Gov. Scott Walker faces a recall vote, too.) Koch Brothers still funding….?

  2. Another small but important step for the patriotic people of Fitzwalkerstan.  With an even-split state Senate, that should put a hold on Farfuhrer Walker’s ability to screw the people for the next 2 plus months.  I just hope that his past criminal activities come back to bite him in the ass and he ends up in prison.  I wonder if his wife could live with that ignominy?  Not a lot of income for a criminal these days!

And Pam Galloway, it’s not family reasons — my guess is that the kitchen is too hot!  She’s either too stressed out, or as TC says “. . . she simply lacks the courage to face the consequences for the total disconnect between what she and other Republicans said they would do when elected and what they actually did after too many voters believed their lies.”

Good riddance to bad rubbish!  In Mainland China following Mao, wasn’t it the “Gang of Four” that ruled and then were removed from power?  Well Fitzwalkerstan has the gang of 6 that will shortly be deposed, sent to the nether regions of “hell”!

    Perfect.

  4. I don’t remember where I read it, but Pam Galloway’s husband resigned his position as well from his job.  Perhaps their under investigation in there John Doe FBI probe.

Now that would not surprise me in the least.

Glad to see your back TC.  Hope you stay well now for a while.  Have a great day.
