I completely caught up on visiting blogs yesterday, but I’ll be scarce today.  Sunday is a holy day in the First Church of the Ellipsoid Orb, so I’ll be watching Football.  Monday will be a high holy day as the blessed Broncos play the cursed Chargers. 😉

Today’s Jig Zone puzzle took me 5:18.  To do it, Click Here.  How did you do?

In today’s cartoon, I predict Snowe.

Have a great Sunday!!

Yesterday I had to rearrange my plans, but I did manage to complete that long delayed computer backup and get some visiting in anyway.  Today, I can visit blogs and spend more time in doing so.

Here are a couple one liners from Daily Kos.

"It was announced that Rush Limbaugh would be a judge for the 2010 Miss America pageant. This is an early boost to Miss Connecticut, whose talent is filling out illegal prescriptions."

—Seth Myers

"A group called the Conservative Bible Project is re-editing the Bible because they say it’s too liberal. They say previous editions have a liberal bias. For example, when Jesus is washing the Apostles’ feet, it sounds a little gay.  So now he washes their truck."

—Bill Maher

Have a great weekend!

Yesterday I managed to keep up with comments, but I got no visiting done.  I expect the next couple days to be similar, so please don’t give up on me.

Today’s Jig Zone puzzle took me 4:16.  I had an unfair advantage.  To do it, Click Here.  How did you do?

I found the right’s reaction to Limbaugh being dropped from the investment group trying to buy the Rams.  They claim that liberals are denying his free speech, because he is a conservative.  Say what?  How about this.  Nobody denied Rush anything.  NFL players objected because of his long history of racist remarks, including referring to NFL players as crips and bloods.  Then his own buddies kicked him to the curb.  It couldn’t have happened to a nastier bigot.

Half of October is now gone.  Where did it go so fast?  I stayed caught up with visits yesterday, but I may fall behind today, because I’ll be out getting a USB hard drive custom built.  It will cost me about $20 extra to do it that way, but if the drive fails, instead of sending it to the manufacturer for a replacement and losing all the data, I can take it to the builder, who will recover it, if possible.  The problem is that my neighborhood computer supplier had to move.  It now takes me over 90 minutes to get there by bus.

I’ll be around today more than I thought, because the therapist for whom I volunteer is ill and cancelled the group.  I do have errands to run, but I should get some visiting in.  I’m changing the poll this afternoon, so vote if you haven’t done so.

Today’s Jig Zone puzzle is a good one.  It took me 7:05.  To do it, Click Here.  How did you do?

Yesterday I caught up on visiting neighbor blogs and hope to do so again today.  After that, my plate will be pretty full for a bit, volunteering, getting a USB hard drive for my computer, backing up the computer, getting an H1N1 vaccine, visiting Social security, trying to learn enough about Medicare to avoid mistakes in getting that going, etc.

After I posted my articles here yesterday, I returned to bed and overslept.  Then I went to the store to get yet another mouse and and a USB hub, because my computer has only three USB ports, while I have a mouse dongle, Magic Jack, and a joy stick , and I plan to get a USB drive next week.  By the time I got back, I was already behind on answering comments and visiting blogs.  However, I answered all the comments and visited most of my blogging friends.  Today I will do little if any visiting, because it’s a holy day in the First Church of the Ellipsoid Orb.  The Broncos play the Patriots.  Can they go 5-0?  I won’t get to see them play, but  can follow the game online.  It’s either that or watch the Bird Bowl, the Falcons are playing the Sea Chickens.

I finished today’s Jig Zone puzzle in 5:34.  To do it, click Click Here.  How did you do?

In the latest Red State Report, the guys sound just like real Repuglicans.

You may wonder why I call the Republican Party the Repuglican Party.  During the days of the Bush Reich, Republicans renamed the Democratic Party the Democrat Party, because, they said, there is nothing Democratic about it.   Since then, Repuglican Senators, Representatives, and talking heads virtually always use the term Democrat party as an ongoing sign of contempt.  When they abandon this disrespect, I’ll stop using Repuglican.

Here’s a cartoon for your Sunday pleasure.

Have a great weekend.  How will your team do?
