Just to let everyone know, I am finding that if I put these threads up in the early to mid afternoon, I can catch more when they are newer. So that’s why.

American Bridge – Speaks for itself.

Don Winslow – He is really good at getting down to the bottom of things

Meidas Touch – Hang on to this one – in view of the report of a whistleblower in DHS claiming Wolf and Cuccinelli both ordered staff to lie about how much violence is coming from where.

The Lincoln Project has two – the first one still on Trump* and the military.

plus one on Lindsey Graham – Ouch!

Robert Reich – “Law and Order” – I figured TC would not have time to post and comment on this, Not sure what to say except that the Reich on the left is right – again.

This is longish (~5 minutes) but it is worth everyone’s time. A hanky or tissue may be needed – in case one gets a sense watching it of how critically important this is.

I love it when cartoonists tweet out their work so I can embed it. And I still love David Horsey, but when Luckovich nails it, he REALLY nails it.

  1. Press Sec. Kayleigh McEnema is no match compared to Trump when it comes to lying.  But she clearly is quickly learning from a Master:

    KAYLEIGH MCENANY:

“The President never downplayed the virus.”

Ahhh … Kayleigh – there are tapes!

And it’s doubly enjoyable that Trump is the one to prove she’s a liar:

    • Great one, Nameless.
Where does tRump get these crazy press secretaries who can lie on top of him, I’ll never understand. I could never live with myself, knowing that I lied to the people. Maybe it has to do with these so called Millennial’s, maybe they don’t have conscience? Who knows?

    • Great minds fall in the same ditch! 19

      See today’s 2nd Short Take.

      • All the advertising PACs are in that ditch too.  Today’s vids are full of them.  So is Beau; though the one I used from him isn’t, there were four other new ones which were right in the ditch.

  2. Thanks for all of the videos, Joanne
    Appreciate them. Keep them coming.

  3. There’s an abundance of terrific videos showing the world what a “disaster” (for a better word) Trump and his cronies are.

Sometimes I have this vision of the Kubrick’s Clockwork Orange scene where Malcolm McDowell is forced to watch all this film material in order to brainwash this granddaddy of all Proud Boys into something less vicious.

Sadly the experiment didn’t work in the film either.

    • It didn’t work in the book either.  I wonder whther one could find one of today’s Proud Boys who even knows who Beethoven is – granted that detail was intended to be against type in the book (and I assume the movie) as well.  Alex certainly was a real piece of work, and figuring ot how to deal with people like that is indeed an existential necessity for a civilized society – yet we still have no clue.

  4. All worth watching, excellent vids.
Thank you, Joanne for posting these.
    (keep ’em comin’).

  5. Excellent vids, JD! 03
