It’s that time of week again, so here are four fine video clips from Bill’s show last night.  Enjoy!

Monologue: Omarosa Week

Omarosa has no credibility. She raked in the big bucks defending Trump, until the gravy train dried up. Only then did she flip and try to rake in the big bucks from our side.  We need a less hypocritical whistle blower.

Catholic Church Cover-Up

I agree with ordaining women and married priests.

Preet Bharara: Defending Institutions

I have to disagree with Preet. Calling Trump and his Republican Reich traitors is understating the issue, not overstating it.

New Rule: Avatar America

My avatar is a cat, and it is purrrrfect!!

I loved the last clip!

  1. Bill – Monologue – I would definitely rather see her making money off Orange Judas than vice versa. In the interest of full disclosure, however, the black comunity is talking about revoking her “black card” (literally, in those words), so she’s apparently not making anyone happy. Most of what we have heard her allege seems to me trivial … but then his supporters are trivial, so if anything she alleges bothers them – and if she can prove it – my response is “you go, girl!”

Church – I’ll see your “ordaining women and marrying priests” and raise you “ordaining and marrying gay priests.” But that doesn’t mean you’d eliminate pedophilia. Pleanty of married men are pedophiles.

Bharara – Nice to have a highly visible, clearly intelligent person confirm my definition of the Deep State. And, God bless it, indeed. Bill: “(Orange Judas) has ways of being petty no one even thought of.”

New Rule – My avatar here is Archie. I’ve told a few Archie stories. I hope to see him at the rainbow bridge. I also use an avatar of DJ, whom I also hope to see at the rainbow bridge. On Care2 I use a picture from back in the day when yahoo would let you build avatars. I’m happy with all of them in the contexts where they are used. I’m not on Facebook or Twitter, so I don’t really juggle identity the way Bill is talking about.

    • “Plenty of married men are pedophiles.”
      YES spot on Joanne!!!

      • Thanks, Animae.  Rereading my own comment this morning, my additional thought was that one thing we might indeed get is the spectacle of a married priest committing pedophilia with the enthusiastic assistance of his wife.  That has happened in secular circles.

    • I agree.  I just think it would decrease the frequency of abuse. 35

      • And you may be right.  The thing is, we don’t know what the frequency of abuse is in the Catholic church, in the Protestant churches, among the unchurched, or on any group, straight, gay, married, single.  We do have a hunch, and it’s evidence based, that there are proportionately more straight pedophiles than gay ones – there are numbers that demonstrate that – but again, we don’t have all the numbers.  it’s not the kind of thing a Harris Poll or Survey Monkey or Gallup can determine with any kind of accuracy.  To put it differently, all the evidence we have is based on those who were caught.  Those are the failures.  We have no data on successful pedophiles.

  2. Love Bill. W/watch later.. Thanks, Tom.

  3. When it comes to Omarosa I’ve wondered whether the ancient adage “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” applies.

Clearly Omarosa is not someone to emulate nor is she my “friend”.

But I do enjoy, admire and appreciate her expert trolling of Trump!  She’s learned from him to play by his “Rules” – which means there are no rules other than to advance your own interests.

Keep the tapes coming, Omarosa!  It clearly bugs the hell out of Twitler!

  4. Omarosa reminds me of a rat deserting a sinking ship.
The Catholic Church has been covering up this molestation sh*t for decades at least. I am outraged that Pope Francis has said nothing about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if molesting altar boys goes way back – not just generations, but centuries. And what the hey is wrong with allowing priests to marry? Other religions permit their clergy to take wives – and husbands.

  5. For goodness sake, allowing priests to marry does NOT stop pedophilia, it does my head in when people who haven’t got a clue flap their gums & the rest cheer!!! My father was married to my mother & still molested me!!!And not that i’m against it, but how is ordaining women going to stop it?!?!Adam Conover has got it right!!!In Australia we have already dragged a few of the creatures through the courts!!The church IS going DOWN!!!

i agree with Bill, everyone’s too calm!!!

Stick your dick in a what?!?! ? LOL!!!

Loved Bill as always, needed the laffs today!!!

    TY dear TC ?

  6. Bill Maher #1: “The reality people are now the reality.” Too true.

Bill Maher #2: Adam Conover is absolutely right, predators work their way up into any institution which gives them access to children so marriage and ordained women would solve only part of the problem. The main problem is that many other institutions wouldn’t think of covering up this worldwide kind of abuse the way the Catholic Church has. That has everything to do with its structure of power and its infallibility that can never doubted or questioned.

Bill Maher #3: Love Preet Bahara’s voice of reason and his definition of the Deep State.

Bill Maher #4: [Drumpf] speaks what’s left of his mind, while the rest of us are two-faced: what a sad comment on modern times in the western world.

  7. Thanks and hot smokey hugs to all! 04
