From The New Yorker: Queen Elizabeth II has cancelled a scheduled Friday meeting with Donald J. Trump after complaining of a “flare-up of bone spurs,” Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
The announcement took many royal watchers by surprise, because in her sixty-six-year reign the Queen had never before complained of bone spurs.
But, according to the Queen’s spokesman, Peter Rhys-Willington, Elizabeth had intentionally kept her chronic bone-spur condition a closely guarded secret until now.
Oh Andy! The poor Queen! I suggest that she flush one Trump and get lots of bed rest. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

Another hymn addressed to the issue of families which are separated, as well as other abuses of children. Please notice the tune the hymnodist chose for it. Even on this sad subject it is possible to smile, even chuckle.
MSNBC – It would certainly not be the first time Kelly was uncomfortable aroung Trump’s BS. My money’s on that explanation.
Reich – #8 One of the founding fathers’ big gripes against George III was that he restricted immigration. They WANTED open borders. Re-read the Declaration of Independence.
TNY – Having much more class and much more ethics than Orange Judas – not to mention sense of duty – I doubt that would even have occurred to her. I did observe she was wearing a lovely shade of blue (Rosenstein was late for his own conference, so I saw a little before I had to puke over Orange Judas.)
Cartoon – It’s tough to stop when you weren’t moving in the first place.
BTW, “hangry” is a word. It’s a portmanteau of “hungry” and “angry.” Yes, it’s pretty new, but it’s so useful I’m sure it’ll become permanent. People do tend to get quite testy when they are hungry and not used to being so … so, yeah, it’s a first world problem … but a common one.

RR: So true. It’s a good thing, and they also bring jobs, they contribute, and they’re fun to be with. Not especially in regards to the debacle at the border, but nevertheless, they are kind, caring and loving folks. I support them.

Now the Orange Ogre wants to depart legal residents, if I understand correctly. People who are here LEGALLY, who have been here for decades, contributed to society, raised families, built businesses and provided jobs, supported their communities, et cetera. Future historians will wonder how the hell the USA survived the tRump era of endless errors.
He wants to actually rescind naturalized citizenship, and then deport.The law is very specific that there are extremely limited grounds on which that can be done, but when has the law ever stopped him?

The New Yorker — Flush Drumpf indeed! He was at Windsor Castle for 30 minutes and managed to break royal protocol 3 times — 1) he kept HRM waiting in the summer heat as he arrived 15 minutes late; 2) he failed to bow and Melania failed to courtesy when meeting HRM; and 3) he turned his back on HRM during the reviewing of the guard. As she readied herself for bed, she was heard to say “Thank goodness THAT is over. I am so delighted they left the Empire when they did.” In addition, he looked like a total slob with a wrinkled ill fitting suit and a too long tie.
