At the time when mother earth has never had a greater need for all her inhabitants to work together to minimize the effects of global climate change, Donald Trump, Resident of the United States and Fuhrer of the Republican Reich is doing everything in his power to destroy the earth.

A gathering of global economic powers concluded on Saturday with the United States standing alone as the sole country that declined to sign onto a communique addressing climate policy issues — confirming fears that, in the Trump era, the G20 will devolve into the G19 without the United States.

The 19 other members of the G20 all reaffirmed their commitment to combating climate change through the Paris climate agreement, which the United States withdrew from earlier this year, ignoring the position of the scientific community and nearly every other country in the world.

The joint summit statement acknowledges the United States’ decision to pull out of the agreement, but notes the rest of the countries at the summit still believe “the Paris Agreement is irreversible” and remain committed to doing their part to slow the effects of global warming.

Kudos to 18 the 19 nations who agreed to stay the course.  I omit Russia, because were it not for their attack against our election, we would not have the Fuhrer and would not have withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement.

When we were negotiating the agreement, I suggested that the other nations of the world should boycott the goods and services of any nation that refused to comply.  My compassion will not allow me to call for one now, knowing the suffering it would bring to my fellow citizens, most of whom did not even vote for this tyrant, in the midst of Republican class warfare, but were it to happen, I’m not so hypocritical that I would call it unjustified.

We must remove the Fuhrer and the entire Republican Rectum Reich from power.

  1. What do you want to bet he is salivating to get to Mars and sample the brothel of kidnapped children we are supposed to have there – the one that was set up to provide a steady supply to the DC pizza parlor.

  2. Tom, your comment spoke volumes! I agree, TY!!

Maybe we can make Jerry Brown (D) CA our fill in president. He went to Hamburg to speak at the Global Citizen Festival Hamburg and also got the word out that California would host a global summit on climate change in San Francisco in September. Here’s two links to read:

  3. Kudos to Jerry Brown.  The Orange Sundown Wanderer is so intent on being alone with his emptiness, IMHO, that he would favor a black spotlight over none at all!  He inspires such extreme reactions, nobody, I think simply likes, or dislikes him, and he probably loves every minute of it.

  4. He has no shame, only a lust for more money and protecting the earth is not on his agenda.

  5. From the communiqué:

“The United States of America states it will endeavour to work closely with other countries to help them access and use fossil fuels more cleanly and efficiently and help deploy renewable and other clean energy sources, given the importance of energy access and security in their nationally determined contributions.”

I believe this line “… and help deploy renewable and other clean energy sources …” should actually read “… and help destroy renewable and other clean energy sources …”.  There is no way that Drumpf and his Drumpfians, grade A climate change deniers and corporate shills, will allow the deployment of renewable  and other clean energy sources to happen.  To them, there is too much money on the line.

Although my car uses gas/oil and my furnace natural gas, I do what I can to restrict usage.  I drive only when necessary and do one trip for many things, and I keep my home temperatures as low as possible.  We also had our 40 year old windows replaced and the difference is noticeable.  That should help cut down on natural gas usage.  We all need to do our part.  Too bad Drumpf doesn’t want to see this.

    The G19 it is.

    Resist and Persist!!!

  6. Well, this calls for a repeat performance doesn’t it. This image was made before the G19 started, but it’ll be a good likeness until Drumpf is either impeached or put away in a straitjacket:

The G19, like the G6, have tried to persuade Drumpf to come back on his decision, something he does all the time, so it wouldn’t have been hard or strange, but he’s got too much invested in fossil fuels and too much backing by the industry to be able to turn. Rather destroy a whole planet than lose out on some investments. And if you’re 71-years old, what do you care about what happens in 20 years time, especially if you don’t give a toss now, eh?

I think the G19 didn’t put too much effort into persuading Drumpf, but focused instead on how to unite on the Paris Climate Agreement with the rest of them. And although I can understand your skepticism, TomCat, this time Putin didn’t rock the boat or try to create chaos, not with China there anyway.

A boycott of American goods and services crossed my mind immediately, but I don’t see that happening other than on a personal level. It wouldn’t do much good either if Drumpf, or rather his advisors, can spin a boycott into a the trade war he’s been looking for to start his own. But I bet Ivanka wasn’t there without reason, “representing” America during the meetings when dear old Dad couldn’t be bothered or simply couldn’t manage; she must have been worried about her deals for her own product line with China and other G19 countries.

  7. Thanks all.  Very pooped hugs. 19
