Humorous, but entirely accurate!
They are at war with the truth! So stinking AMEN!! He may have meant Americans, not Democrats, but most Democrats are fighting for you. Republicans are goose-stepping in lock-step, and far too many of the fringe left are jerking knees before engaging brains.
He makes good sense, and I agree with him. I’m never politically correct, and I don’t have a racist, bigoted, misogynist or homophobic bone in my body. I used to have a sexist one, but it doesn’t work anymore, anyway.

I do see what Bill is driving at. But of course, Democrats are Democrats largely because they are aware that other people HAVE feelings. Along with needs and wants. This is an example of everything having the defects of its qualities. I surely agree we are picking a lot of the wrong battles. We desperately need to do better at thet. But we don't need to be telling Democrats not to care about others' feelings, because if they took the advice, they would no longer be Democrats. On the positive side, there is a group trying to get more good, young Democrats to actually run for office:

True, but if someone is offended by reasonable behavior, "I'm sorry you felt offended by what I said/did. I didn't mean it the way you took it." out to be more than saiisfactory.

Most comedians had spot of trouble with trying to comment on the horrors that passed for government in the past week and be funny at the same time, and only the great – who can afford not to give a frack – managed that. So kudos to Bill for doing it best of all and energizing us again to
RESIST!
I so love the wit and wisdom of Bill Maher – if only HE were president….
