Here are the results of our “How Progressives Should Vote” poll.  Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories.   Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population.  Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking or will of the national majority.

I voted the right way, as did virtually everyone else.

The new poll is up and it addresses a key problem.  Please vote.

  1. Voted and commented.  I also checked the math on the old one because I thought 99% looked high, but it is right on – it comes to 98 and a half plus a little.

  2. Just added.

    Thanks, Tom.

  3. "but voting blue does not necessarily mean voting in every race on the ballot (yes, I'm being a technocrat here) "

and not working to prevent a Clinton nomination now is the surest way to ensure a Trump presidency in Nov. so keep repeating Clinton's meme and wring your hands instead of working to make a difference and accept your responsibility for a Trump/GOP POTUS is my opinion

    • If Bernie is the nominee I’ll work tirelessly to “make a difference” to ensure that he gets elected, and thereby ensuring that I will NOT HAVE any “responsibility for a Trump/GOP POTUS”.

If Hillary is the nominee and YOU don’t work to “make a difference” to ensure that she gets elected then YOU will have a “responsibility for a Trump/GOP POTUS”.

(See how that works BOTH WAYS?)

    • I have been working to prevent a Clinton nomination, with the caveat that my integrity demands that I use only honorable means to do so.

  4. If we do not work TOGETHER TO ELECT A DEMOCRAT, WE ARE SCREWED!!!

A Drumpf presidency is NO choice! We have to STOP and THINK!!! We will screw up the WORLD of we let Trump get in office!!!

  5. Vote blue no matter who all the way! Change must start at the ground level for there to be meaningful change all the way. That is what Canadians did on 19/10/2015 when we terminated Harper from the top.

    VOTE BLUE NO MATTER

    WHO!!!!!

  6. "Our polls [ ] reflect thinking or will of the national majority." If that is the case, TomCat, I think my sigh of relief must be audible across the Atlantic as 99% of your progressive voters are planning to vote blue and for Hillary even if it is with (some) reluctance as they would have preferred to vote for Bernie. It seems there may be some unity among Democrats after all as they've come to understand how much has become to depend on their votes and realize that any Democrat is a better choice than Drumpf. Thank you.

  7. I do hope that this reflects, and believe it does, the feeling among Democrats and a substantial number of independents too, probably even some republicans.  Anyone but Drumpf, no matter who opposes him, gets my vote.

  8. Thanks all.  Hugs!!  Hurrying!!
