I’m about to leave for my CAT Scan. I have one every year, because I have COPD. I won’t have the results until my Pulmonologist appointment next month, but I’m certain that it will be no worse than last year, because I quit smoking. Last Summer, an old window air conditioner in the building lost integrity and dumped rusty water and coolant on a pedestrian pushing a baby stroller. She sued. The management company has outlawed window A/Cs, so even though my A/C is in excellent condition, it comes out tomorrow. My new A/C, a floor model with a tube to window-vent hot air, should arrive Wednesday. I hope they can install it immediately, because Thursday is forecast in the 80°s.Back!! The cat said meow!!

I look forward to hearing good news from your CAT scan, and I hope, even if Scanner still refuses to play, he is at least courteous about doing his job. You can hardly blame the management for the window A/C ban, even though it is of course an inconvenience. You are the last person who would want to hurt anyone walking by.

Some of the treatment in the hospital also might improve the CAT results. Hope timing for AC works out.
I remember the media was fed a whole array of hypotheses that were far from the evidence about who and why the shooting.

I have at least 3 CAT scans per day. They are heavenly. I'm sure yours will be just fine. I have to have my quarterly fasting blood tests which I put off because of the cold. Now let's hope I don't have a BS low like this morning and yesterday morning.
I'd have to Google the picture to find out who the one on the left is. But the one on the right, I'm pretty sure, is the Rev. Ralph Abernathy.

Glad you didn't get into a cat fight with Cat Scan, TomCat. I'm sure you're results will be better than last years and will continue to do so because you stopped smoking. You never speak of your tobacco craving these days, they're probably on a back burner because you had so many other things on your mind the past 6 months.
I hope your AC is installed in time. A floor model with a tube isn't nearly as efficient, so I hope you've bought one with enough capacity. And you also need some fitted paneling to put into your window to lead the tube through, I guess. I hope you'll manage emptying the water tank, or is that expelled with the hot air nowadays?

hope it goes well for you Tom . and quitting the smoke has got to count for something . i keep meaning to but i guess i don't want to badly enough yet . i had a scan bout a week ago for my back , which is kinda fried . as usual they never tell you the results , so you have to wait till you see your own doc, which is next week for me . hope the new AC works out well for you , also . take care of you self .
