Who Was it?

Do you remember Diaper Dave, aka Dastardly Dave Vitter (R-LA).  He is the family values Republican that likes to have his bottom powdered during his diaper changes.  He was outed by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, famous as the DC Madam.  She committed suicide in prison, probably “assisted” by Republican clients.   After all these years her attorney is about to release more names of her clients, and says it would have a major effect on the coming Presidential election.  So who was it?

A lawyer who represented the so-called “D.C. madam” says he has phone records that could influence the outcome of the presidential election, and he’s threatening to release one or more names on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court if he’s denied a hearing on his right to distribute them.

Montgomery Blair Sibley, the late madam Deborah Palfrey’s colorful attorney, has been subject to a restraining order since 2007 barring him from releasing the information, which he says includes 815 names, addresses and Social Security numbers of Verizon Wireless customers.

“Time is of the essence because people are casting votes in primaries and caucuses,” he says. “I believe this information is relevant to that political discourse.”

Sibley first said the records could be relevant to the presidential race in January, when there were 15 high-profile candidates. Now, just three Republicans and two Democrats remain – though Sibley won’t say if any are implicated, citing fear of being jailed for contempt…

Rachel Maddow provided more detail.

So who was it?

Hillary?  Possible, but I doubt it.

Bernie?  I don’t think so.  At his age, he’d be bragging about it.

KKKsich?  He seems too boring.

TRUSed Uranus Cruz?  The National Enquirer has accused him of cheating. so maybe.

Fecal Dump Trump?  That seems the most likely choice to me.

To be clear, what transpires between two consul;ting adults is their own business.  What makes this a political is that all the Republican candidates are running on a platform that condemns people who have sex outside of heterosexual wedlock.   If they are doing what they condemn others for doing, that’s everyone's business.

This is an uptated version in which I corrected my error over the Madam's name,

  1. So glad you brought this up. I think Cruz might be the one in trouble. Just my thought. Everyone already knows Trump is a horndog, so I doubt anyone would care if it were his name on the list.

  2. Ummmm – I don't think that was Gwyneth Paltrow.  Gwyneth is Blythe Danner's daughter, who won some awards for her performance in "Shakespeare in Love."  While she's not on anyone's Miss Congeniality list, she's never been associated with a sex scandal.  Also she's very much alive.

    • After reading everything everyone else has said, I vote for KKKKasich.  Because he has such a low profile.  And the lower it stays the better off he is.

  3. Pretty Major Erratum (No Pun Intended)

Just to keep us on the up-and-up, the "D.C. Madam" was NOT Gwyneth Paltrow – probably best known as an actress.

The "D.C. Madam" was, as the article points out, Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

  4. I can't remember the 'Madame's name right now, but no, it wasn't Paltrow. It's all over the news, but my brain is on hold.

  5. Deborah Jeane Palfrey was her name.

  6. I agree with Joanne's comment,…re: Gwyneth Paltrow. (??)  The late DC madam's name was Deborah Palfrey.

I think it's Cruz, myself. Trump could care less, and I don't think HC or Bernie are involved in sordid phone calls. I would think that a few politicians are worried when the list comes out too!!

    Good reporting by Rachel too!!

  7. Ohhhh!!! This is priceless! The only ones that could be on the list, I think is Drumpf or Cruz! And they are probably BOTH are on it! That, and more of the RepukkklicanTs party members! This is something that he needs to tell BEFORE the next Primary!!! It's essential information!!!

  8. Wouldn't be such a big deal if folks weren't pushing legislation restricting people's bedroom behavior.

  9. I agree with jla, it would not be a big deal if they were not so obsessed with other people's sex lives.  I hope it is publicized, though, so the Bible belt will realize those they are supporting are not their equals in religious belief.

  10. Don't you just love Republican family values!?

Personally, I don't think it is Drumpf because he's such a narcissist that he'd be doing some bragging.  Also his wife is pretty hot.

Kasich?  You have to watch the quiter ones.

    Bernie, Mr Integrity, no way.

Clinton could be payback for Bill's indiscretions. but I doubt it.

Cruz seems the most likely to me.  I think the National Enquirer is a rag, however, where there is smoke, there often is some kind of fire.

I guess we wait to see if the lawyer releases the names.

  11. We're talking about a 10-year-old list here of D.C Clients. That should rule out some people, shouldn't it? Was Drumpf ever D.C. based or did he visit there often before he started his "political" career? I really wouldn't know, but everything else about his campaign is so rancid that I doubt his voters care very much. Remember, this is the man who bragged that if he went out and shot someone in the streets of NY, it wouldn't cost him a vote. A little escorting won't harm him.

Cruz on the other hand plays the religious and family cards so often he'll be in big(er) trouble when his name is on that list. Then the other (fabricated) allegations automatically become true.

I don't know if Kasich was in D.C. much during that period, but his name on the list wouldn't damage his run for the nomination (there's nothing to damage here), but could seriously interfere with any future governorship.

Sanders is the most unlikely one of all, so his campaign would be dead in the water immediately because it depends so much on his personal integrity. Even if it was fabricated and this "colorful' lawyer was paid to put Bernie on the list, it would distract from his message and his campaign would crumble to dust.

If there's a Clinton on the list it probably be Bill as it is unlikely Hillary Clinton would make use of a (male) escort herself, and Hillary has survived similar in the past.

  12. Hello everyone! I'm glad I stopped by today. What a fun post!

My guess is Cruz because I think he would have to pay a woman to have sex with him.

Drumpf could be on the list too because he has an incredible sex drive to match his incredible "junk".

    • Welcome back Patty Monster.  You've been gone far too long and are a Squatch load of puzzles behing!!

Seriously, you have been missed big time!!

      • I was just thinking about you yesterday and hoping you'd drop by today.  And look, you're here! Ditto to TC's comment!

  13. Thanks all!  Hugs!!

I have corrected my brain fart on the Madam's name.  My bad.  I'm sorry.

All have had opportunities to be the one.
