Happy Earth Day, everyone. I hope it was nice enough for you to get out and enjoy the fresh air. It's alomost 50 degrees now so I'll be going for a walk soon before the temperature starts to drop again.
Of course Republicans are not the only ones to blame – but the rest of us are trying to work around our daily lives, whereas it is Republicans who have made official policies which are detrimental. I vote the graphics are right on.
It's 59F here now and supposed to be warmer the rest of the week. My thermostat is programmed for 70F indoors this time of the day. I am wearing a sweater which is warm enough to wear without a coat down into the 30Fs, and my hands are cold enough to nurse a sprain. I did check on my irises but will only go out again today to pick up mail
Love the graphics. Happy Earth day to all. I spent the day taking Mom for her pace maker check up. She is in a wheel chair now, so it is quite a challenge. Thanks for all the cards and well wishes for this day we all should acknowledge.
Last Sunday, members of my church congregation participated in cleaning up local river banks and trails following the service. They had a sandwich or hotdog lunch followed by the donning of rubber boots and a walk down to the cleanup area. It was in the mid 20's C (75-78 F) and sunny so a good day!
