RepublicansOnParade2

Here is the fifty-first article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is GOP State Representative and US House candidate Adam Kwasman. He is so honored for demonstrating his Republican hatred, racism and stupidity.

0717schoolbus…As you might expect, there’s been a major boneheaded failure already in these nascent attempts at pretending to have “compassion” for the migrant children and pretending that the desire to send them back is borne out of this “compassion”. Adam Kwasman is one of those frothing-at-the-mouth anti-immigrant state legislators in Arizona—naturally, he’s also running for Congress—and he was trying to strike the “I just care so much about these kids!” pose by describing what he said was a bus full of migrant children that he believed were afraid.

In pure politician bullshit mode, Kwasman said, “I was actually able to see some of the children in the buses. The fear on their faces…. This is not compassion.” He went on to imply that the Obama administration is somehow failing at “border security” and that being stricter about it in some abstract way would prevent the “sad” kids, presumably by allowing them to die quietly in the desert instead of make it across the border. Compassion!

The problem is that the bus he saw was not actually a bus full of migrant children. It was a school bus full of kids on their way to a YMCA camp…

Inserted from <Raw Story>

The video in the article could not be embedded, but I was able to find one with similar content.  This fool thought he had succeeded in intimidating a busload of refugee children.  Watch him squirm, as he realizes he has TEAbuggered himself.

Regardless of whether or not the children were foreign, or whether or not they actually were afraid, Kwasman considered striking fear into the hearts of refugee children something to brag about. It’s hard to get more Republican than that!

When you consider the determination and courage it took for such refugees to make it here, let me suggest that, given the chance, they would become far more productive citizens than the Republicans who are blocking the roads, waving their guns and venting their hatred.

  1. There is really something wrong with people like this jerk.  And even worse is that there is a lot terribly wrong with people who would vote for him!  Republicans claim to be Christian, you can hardly get into the party without professing your undying love for Jesus!  But what is happening to these immigrant children is NOT Christian.  It is hateful and racist.  They don't want anyone else in this country who isn't the same color as them.  Pretty sad, isn't it?

  2. Kwasman takes the cake for sure this week. I watched several interviews with him and he kept on making excuses and trying to walk back his words and actions. No dice, you turd! We all know what you are.

  3. Kwasman got one thing 100% correct when he said …

    "This is not compassion."

  4. Reporter:  Do you know there was a bus with YMCA kids.

    Kwasman:  There was that too.  I apologise.  I was leaving here . . . I was leaving when I saw them . . .

He was leaving alright . . . to confront a bus of "migrant children" which someone had just told him were coming down the road.  He smelled an opportunity, an opportunity to score some political points and rile up some protesters that were at the campaign type speech.

True to form, this Republicanus/Teabagger troll exhibited all the attributes of the Republicanus/Teabaggers in general including rank hatred, bigotry, unseemly opportunism, lying etc.  And he tried to dance around the whole gaff but was unsuccessful in extricating himself from the mound of bullshit he created.  Oh happy days!

"They know that hate doesn’t sell well [except to a select group of small minded, idiotic conservative trolls] and so will generally, in the face of bad press, try to come up with some line of bullshit about how they’re trying to help the people that they’re actually out to hurt."

That Republicanus/Teabagger snake is at it again . . . biting the Republicanus/Teabaggers in the butt with their own words.  Go snake!

  5. This is totalyy sick and shows just how dangerous extremism in the defense of liberty can be. I'm waiting for the first child death due to the insane Republicans.

    • Make that in defense of InsaniTEA.  In all probabity the evidence of the first child deth due to insane Republicans has been decomposing in the desert for some time now.

    • Unfortunately, the situation that you describe will happen all too soon, I’m afraid, Steve! That is so horrendous!! And it will happen. Just wait and see. And what will be the response from the Turdbaggers then? Nothing, probably!!

  6. I am so happy this fool got bitten by his own actions.
