In June, Politics Plus improved in every category except Visits, and that only because the month was a day shorter.  It was out best month this year.  Here is our latest summary:

In the monthly totals, a Site is any website from which someone accessed our server, a Hit is every access attempt to our server, and a File is every access attempt to our server that returned data.  The difference between Hits and Files is from access attempts that were sent in error or damaged in transit and failed attempts by hackers, spammers, phishers, and Republicans to access the back end and take control of the site.  Any questions?

Here is our latest Clustrmap:

This is the new map, and it look’s less naked.  It misses a lot, because many visits can’t be easily traced to a location.  It shows only the visits from March 2 to June 14, when it was last updated.

Here are our top five articles:

Last Week’s Republican Lunacies 6/9/2014 5,873
Jane Smiley: Capitalist Pigs 1/17/2010 1,918
The ChickenHawk Resurfaces 6/20/2014 775
A Republican Freedom 9/24/2013 602
Redistributing the Wealth 10/29/2011 537

We have 290,945 links on other websites.

Our Technorati rating no longer exists, because Technorati no longer exists as a blog rating entity.  Their URL is now site to connect website publishers to advertisers.  Over the years, they came to dominate the blog authority rating field so completely that their competitors withered away.  Without competition, they stagnated, did a poor job and many just stopped paying attention.  They have left a vacuum in blog authority rating.  If you learn of someone filling that need before I do, please let me now.

As of Midnight, July 1, we have 4,951 articles and 54,222 comments.

I recommend using your own avatar. Go to Gravatar.  Sign up using the email address you use to post comments here and upload the image you want to use as your avatar.  Whenever you comment under that email address here or on any WordPress blog (several others too), that image will become your avatar.

The 2014 elections are only four months away.  Republicans want to transform our nation into a totalitarian plutocracy.  They want a permanent, one-party regime in which elections exist for show only.  No lie, no trick and no crime are to heinous for them to embrace.  If nothing else, Mondays two criminal SCROTUS decisions make that fact crystal clear.  We mist get out the vote in mass!!

Our improved performance again last month was because of you.  Thank you for everything you do, here and elsewhere.

  1. Things are looking good. I'm sure the numbers will improve as the TeapublicanTs get crazier as it gets closer to Election Day.

  2. I'm not sure if I get counted as a visit when I observe via Feedly. I'll try to stop by more often. Blog feeds might cut down on the visits stats.

    • Observing via feedly, counts as a Hit and a File, Marva, bit not as a visit or a page.  Use your URL when you comment. 🙂

  3. I agree with Patty.  I am sure that stats are up the past fews days with SCROTUS filling their boots!  It seems that it is the opening of duck season again!

  4. TC, the performance is because of you and your hard work.  Glad the stats are up.
