Tea party supporters are angry at the GOP for embracing as its presidential nominee a "moderate" like Romney. For undermining "true conservative" candidates. And for "choosing to ignore" the conservative agenda.

From NY Times: On a conference call with House Republicans a day after the party’s electoral battering last week, Speaker John A. Boehner dished out some bitter medicine, and for the first time in the 112th Congress, most members took their dose.
Their party lost, badly, Mr. Boehner said, and while Republicans would still control the House and would continue to staunchly oppose tax rate increases as Congress grapples with the impending fiscal battle, they had to avoid the nasty showdowns that marked so much of the last two years.
On one shoulder sits Agent Orange. On the other sits the rabid, bloodthirsty Republican base. Who do you thing the goose-steppers will listen to?

Well, it has been an interesting month for me computerwise. I have had one desktop and two laptops PCs take a dump on me. I am not completely computerless yet. I do have my wife's iMac (I am on it now) and an iPad (useless for doing the puzzle. I can do it, but the "finger" is too slow. I need a mouse.)

Yes, the iPad finger is much too slow it to do the puzzles in a good time… Oh well, the iPad is my only recourse until I can pick up a used desktop Apple computer.

MoveOn — Signed. The US and Canada share more than just the continent. Decisions made in the US are felt in Canada. With the 'Fiscal Cliff' part 2, the Canadian government is already talking recession if the situation in the US is not handled correctly. Boehner is certainly trying to do his level best to promote no coöperation and another recession. If I may quote my father's final words on this earth "Kick him in the ass!" (That was almost 5.5 years ago. He then went into a coma and died less than 24 hours later. It really was quite funny, especially if you knew my father.)
LA Times — There sure is a lot of finger pointing from the Teabaggers — trouble is, for every finger pointed outwards, there are at least 3 pointed back at the Teabaggers!

I would say that America did not die as Brunemann said, but rather America, or at least some of it, woke up to see the fanatical right for what it was and is. If I were the Republicans, I think I would deliver a writ of divorce to the Tea Party. The Tea Party should not try to remake the Republican Party, it should go its own way, establish its own bona fides, if THAT is even possible.
Teabuggery at its finest! Gee, if Boehner resigns as Viguerie has suggested he should, I guess that opens up a spot for that backstabbing little runt, Eric "Ivan the Terrible" Cantor, who I noticed wasn't mentioned at all. And if the Turtle resigns, which pugnacious twit would replace him? Oh, the teabuggery! Where are the effective anti biotics when you need them?!
NY Times — In my mind, there is no other way to characterise the Republican/Teabaggers — they are like a "house of ill repute", prostituting themselves to the big money, big corporations.

The peace between the Allies and Germany was finally settled in 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles, although interestingly enough, the US never ratified the Treaty because a conflict with the constitution, negotiating it's own treaties with the three countries on which it had declared war.
